It's a blender; not the most exciting kitchen gadget but it does it's job very well, if a little noisily. Glass jug makes it very robust and able to crush ice (which it does quite well) but also makes it very heavy. Fair warning; if you are left handed, the jug only goes on the stand one way - handle facing to the right.

Really well made and very sturdy. Not the smallest of blenders but, it does a great job. Easy to clean if you do it straight after using. The glass jug is quite heavy but, it's obviously good quality, the speeds are perfectly adequate for most blending most things. And it's very easy to set up and use. For the price, you'll be hard pushed to find better, even some of the more expensive ones won't match the quality, the glass jug really is far better than any of the plastic ones.

I bought this blender to replace a previous Morphy Richards blender that I had been using for over 15 years. The original was excellent, and was only being replaced because the connector was becoming temperamental. Having had such great service from MR it was an easy choice to buy my replacement from them. I wish I hadn't. It is a cheap, low-quality replacement, with parts that already look fragile and liable to crack or break, but the worst bit is the blades. They are utterly useless. I use the blender every morning to make a protein smoothie, including a banana. The blades cannot even blend a banana. Every time I've used it chunks of unblended banana have dropped out of the blender. It can't even blend a banana! I'd be genuinely afraid to try anything more substantial, so it is going back.

So easy to use this blender, bought it to replace a much smaller one and I am so glad I did , it blends really welland does it quickly too, it doesn't get hot like my old one when using it which is great, the glass jug is really sturdy if a bit heavy when full of liquid but that's a small thing. I use it to make homemade smoothies and I can now do it in a big enough batch to last 3 days instead of doing it everyday. It was so quick and easy , I absolutely love love love this blender, not too noisy either which is brilliant. I would so 100% recommend this blender to anyone.

Blender is great and easy to use. Blades are low down in the jug, so ideal for blending smaller liquid amounts like a hollandaise sauce for one person Unfortunately I am returning my second blender inside a year, as both failed at the plastic seal ring, as it is brittle and appears to crack from the vibration after about 6 months, which then makes the Blender unusable. I only use it once a week, for an Eggs Benedict Saturday morning treat. I'm still ordering an identical replacement, as the 2 yr guarantee means that Amazon are again refunding my original purchase price. Unfortunately it is now £10 more expensive, than the purchase I made in February 2023, however I can't seem to make hollandaise sauce by hand, so I will continue, until the next one fails again. Always keep your box and guarantee safe for returns if needed, and remember to register for the extended guarantee upon delivery. Then when it fails, you will only be inconvenienced and not too much out of pocket. Shame that Morphy Richards can't rectify this design fault as it must be costing them a pretty penny for a simple problem. Made in China, so probably a lower quality plastic being used.

Watch out he just chaps the door and F***s off by the time he was nowhere to be seen and I shouted for him I'm in wheelchair no respect now the blender you won't go wrong with this item it's 1.5 litre I would've preferd 2 litre but beggars fabulous price and doe the job I bought it for soup making mostly even though I've a brand new soup maker untouched lol If your young you probably haven't heard of morphy Richards. Well Richards has going before I was born so I know at least the 70s now that's good going if they have been going longer than that then it's a buy me now situation I've did all the searching for cheap but at that price it's given away don't delay buy today lol I quite liked that ending now this is jeffc signing out mic drop.....
