Please note that the Cisco FPR1120-ASA-K9 model runs Cisco ASA Software and does not provide HA (High Availability) functionality. Available licenses for this model are 	FPR1K-ENC-K9 - Cisco Firepower 1000 Strong Encryption (3DES/AES) and FPR1K-ASASC-5 - Cisco Firepower 1000 - Add 5 Security Context Licenses. If you are looking for HA with ASA software then would need to consider the FPR1010-ASA-K9 model with a feature license FPR1010-SEC-PL - Security Plus License for High Availability. Other options are also the High Availability bundles running FTD software image. Currently, Cisco Secure Firewall Firepower 1000 series appliance is not FIPS compliant. The Cisco Firepower 7k, 8k, and AMP Appliances v6.2 are FIPS compliant. Please note, the Cisco Firepower Security Appliance FPR1120-ASA-K9 comes with ASA operating system but you can use Firepower Threat Defense operating system depending on your needs. Also, the security appliance uses Smart Software Licensing so make sure you have linked your license to your Smart Account.
