Love this monitor!
I love this monitor. I have my laptop hooked up to it for gaming and it works great! The only problem i have had with it is when i shut the lid on my laptop the monitor has to sit there and think and will not let me power it off. I have to push the power but a ton of times for it to turn off or turn it off before my laptop goes to sleep. I'm not sure if the monitor is going on standby or trying to find an input but the blue light under the power button flashes and its bright when i'm trying to sleep. the picture quality is awesome. I love the colors and the brightness. It does have a thin black outline around the screen for black light bleed i believe. I will definitely buy a another or two. Great product for a great price!

This brought my digital content to life
First off I view this monitor directly in a low-lit room from about 3.5ft. Off angle viewing isnโt bad but wouldnโt recommend it with this curved unit as picture quality will be off. Given the price, this is a fantastic monitor. I use it 95% for gaming and 5% streaming movies. I value color and motion in a panel and this does both well. Motion is smooth and colors pop. Out of the box the monitor did appear a hair washed out. After a little tuning to preference I couldnโt be happier. Games look awesome and movies look just as good without having to change any settings. Brightness is about average and contrast is good after adjusting settings. There donโt seem to be any sacrifices in picture when the performance is turned to high. My only annoyance with this monitor is light blooming during some very dark scenes. For example, the Netflix startup screen I can see a bit of blooming around the edges. Itโs not bad but itโs there. Overall this is a great VA 144hz 1440p unit for the budget minded.

Good, but not great, for Xbox X
I bought this to hook to my Xbox One X and take advantage of the new refresh rate. First off, the display is very beautiful. It's nice and bright. Even without changing the settings it looks great. I did, of course, change the settings and improved the picture. The stand is sturdy and the LEDs are a cool bonus. The menu is harder to navigate due to the way the buttons are setup. Although the shortcut buttons are nice. My only problem with this monitor is that it won't do the one thing I bought it for. The xbox x was updated to display in 1440p and 120hz natively. The xbox only has hdmi 2.0 as an output, and it seems like this display only supports 1440p AND 120hz over the dp input. That's great for a PC but stinks for me. It still is beautiful at 1080p and 120hz but I paid more so I could display at 1440p. To sum up: for a PC this display is great; buy another display if using it with a console like xbox x or s or a ps4. Update: After a year, I REALLY love this monitor. No dead pixels. The crosshairs on screen can turn you into a no-scope God. I still think the 1080p 120Hz looks better than my huge TV with UHD and HDR. I have looked into some adapters to use the DP input and really unlock this monitor's potential, but i haven't found one that will meet my performance expectations, yet. If anyone has found one, please comment or leave a question for me. The refresh rate is the best. i have switched back and forth to see if i notice, and there is a HUGE difference btw 60 Hz and 120 Hz. One more thing, the monitor has no HDCP, so movies won't play on my Xbox, nor does Disney+ work. NO prob tho. I really only use it to game. I actually WOULD recommend this monitor!

Like finding a diamond in a coal bin
My old monitor was dying a slow, agonizing death. So I checked Best Buy, Costco, and, of course, Amazon for a replacement. I settled on the VIOTEK GN32DB for its size, 144Hz rate, 4 ms response time, and price. All right, the curved screen hooked me, too. I had never heard of VIOTEK, but often new companies put extra effort into their work precisely because they are new on the scene. I'm not a gamer, but I work with a lot of graphics and photos and was hoping the VIOTEK would speed up that work as well as "Call to Duty 134." This monitor turned out great! The screen is bright and the black bezel seems to disappear. But a couple of weeks after I received it, the display developed a column of dead pixels. I turned to support through Amazon and Better Choice Online--the retailer that sold the monitor through Amazon--and got the kind of quick, human response that I haven't encountered in years. I had a replacement within days with no shipping cost to me and no hassle other than taking the first display to UPS with a prepaid label. I may just buy a game. Great monitor, minus the ghosting.
The ghosting is a serious problem. The monitor is hooked up to a Display Port jack. The first impressions were very nice, but as soon as I got into gaming I could see ghosting. I thought it was framerate lag, but my refresh rate was set to 144Hz and I was getting above 144 FPS. The only other thing it could be was ghosting. I checked out the ghost test with our local friends at Blur Busters. With my iPhone I was able to test my Asus VG248QE 24" and the Viotek GN32DB. The Asus monitor had no blur nor ghosting. However, this monitor looked like it was drunk. You could see visible gray dots in the Black/White testing area, and a trail riding behind each of the UFOs. I tried to remedy the issue by switching to 120Hz, changing the response time, and more. Nothing seemed to help. What a crying shame, because I really do like this monitor. It mounts well, the curve is really nice, and is VESA compatible. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Let me know in the comments. Otherwise, I'll be returning the monitor in a couple of days.

Great for 2K gaming, cost effective
I have no complaints coming from an older 60Hz 1080p 27 in monitor, I notice the higher refresh rates really make a difference, things look smoother... Have not had ripping or tearing when playing as I do enable vsync, feels more emersive than a flat screen. I appreciate the red led details on the reverse of the monitor, great qualit build, image and sufficient brightness. Decided on this screen after price comparing with BenQ, Asus, LG, Samsung and ViewSonic. I feel this monitor was the best due to warranty and brand recognition from the solid security equipment and projectors. Great for 2K gaming... I had a dead pixel on the first one but returns on Amazon are so easy, it was no hassle to get a fully functional replacement. I've purchased a second monitor 'cause I've enjoyed the use of this screen so much. I am confident the manufacturer warranty will have me covered if something were to go wrong, 3 years it says...

VIOTEK GN32DB Defective Audio Jack and User Interface Menu for LED backlighting
Two features of this item were defective right out of the box. 1) The audio jack does not conduct sound. Spent two hours troubleshooting this, checked settings in the user interface menu (UIM) to make certain they corresponded with the outputs from my computer. Tried both display port and HDMI cables to the monitor and the sound that was being sent to the monitor is not directed out the audio out jack. Used my other monitor to test every aspect of the audio out of my computer to be certain it was not on my end, only to find that all audio coming out of my system is fine. It is the monitor. 2) The instruction manual describes how to use the UIM to activate the red accent LEDs on the back of the panel. In the manual, it shows that an Icon shaped like the back of the monitor should be present in the interface as the second choice from left. That icon is not what is displayed on the monitor I received. My UIM says Eco, and all it does is change the screen display to various preset settings. I searched the entire UIM just in case the software had slight differences from the hardcopy manual, but there was no way to access and activate the LEDs. The model number on the box and machine are the same as what is described in the hardcopy manual and in the online description so I expect it to work as advertised, it does not. The audio jack could be forgivable as defective or broken in transport. but the interface menu being different from the manual is a manufacturer error. I took a chance on this item because of the overwhelming amount of positive reviews, but my experience now confirms the minority negative. I expect things to work as advertised, and even though the LEDs are a trifle addition that I may never have used, but........ I PAID FOR THEM TO WORK! so they should! The mismatch between the hardcopy guide and the UIM suggests chaotic manufacturing standards. Sorry, you only get one shot with me, I'm returning this item for a refund and taking my business elsewhere.

Cheap Gaming Monitor
Bought the monitor when it was on sale for 349.99 to replace a 4k 60hz monitor. The main attractions for me was the lower stock stand compared to my previous monitor and the curved display better fits at the corner of my desk. The first monitor I received showed up with multiple dead and stuck pixels at basically every corner of the display. It also came with the incorrect firmware which did not allow the led's on the back of the display to function at all. I was not impressed with the customer service or turn around especially living in the North-East. They do offer a guarantee against dead pixels which is nice, however I am currently writing this review on my second monitor from them which arrived again with a dead pixel or two. This second panel is significantly better than the first, especially since it has the correct firmware this time. I will not be sending this monitor back for a third unit. All in all I would not recommend purchasing this monitor after this experience.
