good deal for a sturdy af laptop pad
(Please ignore my mess of a basement in pics) Will update later down the road, but for the moment I am more than satisfied! The short of it: great for the price. I've only used the Notepal X3 for the past few years, and this is just as cool as the Notepal's single fan, and obvs more dispersed with four fans. Can't turn the lights off, but they're about as bright as my keyboard backlights. Very nice cool white. There's a USB port on the back so you're not out a plug, and two dials for the top and bottom set of fans. The pegs to hold your laptop in place are kinda sharp, as others have mentioned, but the material of the fan and the rubber footies on the bottom of my laptop keep it in place, so I'm not worried about it sliding if I don't use them. Running nothing but Discord and YouTube, all four cores are averaging about 30-32° C. Comfortable for your lap or a lap desk, and laying it flat doesn't jostle or rattle the fans. Only packaged in a box and a single sleeve of bubble wrap, but I haven't seen anyone else having issues about returning it, and the seller seems amicable enough to reach out with problems. The long if it: I'm going to be comparing it to my Notepal X3 A LOT but it holds up fairly well right out of the box. For nothing else, it kicks the Notepal out of the field in quality. I'd be very shocked if this ever broke on me. Both of my new Notepals' had wiggly, loose power ports, and the plastic always felt it was one wrong drop away from cracking. The Klim is far sturdier (at first glance I thought the frame was metal, it's definitely hard enough), and while I'm not one for throwing things, I at least have a bit more faith that it wouldn't bust if I were to drop it or something. If you're debating this vs. others because of the price, double check the other colors available, cuz I got mine 50% off because they were overstocked 👌👌👌 I play FFXIV on an Acer Aspire, which tends to (as expected of all MMOs with graphics not total poop on a laptop not necessarily built for hours and hours of gaming) make the laptop warm. Not to the point I can't touch it, but enough that I worry about it not being elevated or having air flow or anything like that, or playing XIV for more than an hour without a break. I've been through three (one handmedown, two new) Notepals in the past 4-5 years, so I figured I'd take a chance with this one since the reviews were more positive. The fans on max are like a box fan on medium; it's on, not whisper quiet, you can hear it spinning, but it's not roaring. The output of air thus far is decent too. Both elevated with its legs and flat on my lapdesk, the cores are averaging out about 30-32°C. XIV running in the background got it to about ~58°, and tabbed in got me between 64-68. I don't have my numbers from my Notepal, but surface temp is pretty similar. I also like that since my Acer is 15.6" there's a bit of room for the air to blow on me, similar to the vent on my old Notepal. That said, I could definitely see laptops on the 16-17" range having overhang issues. But, again, the rubber feet and the pad's grating hold pretty dang solidly, so even then I'd trust it to hold a bigger laptop. One of the things I did check was the fan to chassis contact, as my Notepal would groan, skid, and rattle if I had to pick it up to adjust it or my laptop. Right off the bat, I didn't have that issue with the Klim. I took my laptop off my lap desk and set it on my lap; at no point did the fans scream from contact, like my Notepal would have, and it was actually very comfortable to have it there. I wouldn't put the the legs up, they're practically stilettoes, but it'd be nothing to get into a comfortable position with or without my little lap desk. If anything, I AM dappointed in Amazon for not putting it in an Amazon box (what's the point of asking at checkout) and that it was just left on my stoop in the middle of a rainstorm. But there was no damage to the fan itself that I could see, just some bumps on the box... I do worry for future customers that only a sleeve of bubble wrap is the only thing inside the box padding the product.

Best cooling pad I've found in 20+ years of gaming
I'm a pretty serious gamer, but because of my housing situation, I don't have space for a desktop rig. Keeping a 17" laptop cool when I'm raiding in Final Fantasy XIV can be a challenge, especially since I live in a place that regularly hits triple-digits Farenheit in the summer. I've typically gone through cooling pads a couple times a year because they just don't last...until I discovered KLIM. I purchased this cooling pad 2 years ago, and it's still working just fine. The airflow is steady, constant, and quiet; the only maintenance I've had to do is to occasionally vacuum the dust and cat hair out of the inside. It is well-build and well-balanced enough that I have no trouble with a 17" gaming laptop, or even the new 18" I just bought. I'm very impressed with the quality of this product, and when I set up the new gaming laptop for my wife, I'll definitely pick up one of these for her.

Keeps Laptop fan running slower, not temps (due to fan speed based on temp)
Same sentiment as Suliman... you can find his review by filtering reviews to 3* only and his should be first, I marked as helpful and commented. ========== Please note all of my testing occurred with the KLIM cooling pad running at max on BOTH adjusters. ========== This device does nothing, but lower your laptop's fan speed. temps are nearly identical under 60% CPU load or higher. The only variance I noted was the min and max both grew farther apart (the range from min to max was 7c without the pad and 10c with). I would expect at idle, temps will be lower than without this device though as the internal fan will be shut off at that point. The rear legs are a 2" lift, plus an extra inch for the device itself, this makes the back end of your laptop 3" higher than flat and 2" higher than the front. I will be buying thermal paste and pads to do a teardown and replacement on my laptop to easy the high temps. I have had no issues with the front supports breaking like others mentioned (in the 3 hours of ownership I have so far). The front fans hang out a bit if you use the laptop supports, so cool air blows on my wrists, not necessarily a bad thing... ========== Pros nice lift, good angle quieter than my laptop was makes my laptop fans run slower, so quieter the Blue LEDs are covered under the laptop legs to keep laptop from sliding off has a passthrough USB port keeps my laptop's fans quieter (said twice, because that is really nice) ------------ Cons LEDs - no idea why people want this under the laptop, they don't shine out the sides... does not allow my laptop to run cooler uses up my only free USB port not good for your lap, needs a solid flat surface under it (doesn't bother me, but will bother others) no overall change in laptop temps (said twice, because this is the main selling point and should be explained in the description) ========== While Suliman gave this a 3* rating, I am giving it 4*s because there is nothing wrong with the device itself, only the description of it. Giving this device a low star rating, because it does what EVERY laptop cooler is going to do isn't a good idea. Giving a review that explains how the device actually works is a better plan, and Suliman did this too, which is why I gave him a helpful mark on his review. I did give this device a 1* for gaming on the features though, because your laptop will most likely be at max fan during gaming with or without this cooler. ========== My overall feelings on this and ALL laptop coolers of this style (I contemplated getting one that attaches to the output and pulls air out of the laptop, those may work better, but didn't have the space for it in my setup) is don't buy it if you don't have an issue with the sound levels of your laptop's current cooling system. Personally I did and as such this device is working for me, if not in the way I wanted (as you can see in my screenshot my temps are just way too high on this laptop, the max temps listed were after 3 mins at 100% cpu all cores with some fluctuation of not more than 5% on any one). As such, I will be ordering some thermal paste and pads and then will do a teardown and replacement of the existing. reviews on this process for my laptop series shows 10-25 degree decreases overall in Open Hardware Monitor from performing this, vs. no temp change and slower fan speeds from a laptop cooler... I am hoping combining the two will net me the ability for the internal cooling fan to shut off when I use this cooler.

Perfect!
I won't lie, I was a bit skeptical of this product at first. I wanted something to help keep my MacBook Air (M2 Chip) cool while I played Minecraft. Previously, it got quite hot while playing; although it never lagged or shut down because of the heat, I was getting worried since it was my only laptop. I went searching for a while to find some kind of cooling pad. This one caught my eye for being able to fit the 15" laptop and for doing its job. I was really happy to see how light the cooling pad was when I opened the box. The little tabs to hold up the stand and keep your laptop in place are quite handy too; it helps circulate more airflow to the bottom of the laptop. The dials and lights also help a lot. Each dial corresponds to either the back fans or the front fans. This way, I can keep the back fans running when I start playing and turn on the front fans as a sort of backup. The dials are really easy to use, it clicks to tell you that the dial is on/off so it's convenient. Also, only the fans that are running light up, not the whole thing. It kept my laptop significantly cooler than normal, I could probably play double the time without worrying about it heating up. I'm not sure how it will hold up since I've only had it for a day, but it seems quite durable and can handle the weight of my pretty heavy laptop (Macs are NOT light!). Overall, this is one of my favorite products and one of the only ones I have written a review for! If you're looking for something to cool down your laptop, this might be the one you should choose.

Great product - works well especially for gaming laptops
Highly recommend this product for a few reasons - in comparison to other models I have tried. I have a gaming laptop which I use to run AI software - which is very taxing and when AI software is active my gaming laptop kicks on the fans to super high speed for very long periods. I hooked up a fan on the back of my laptop to help, but it was noisy and having a fan on in winter months blowing air around is not enjoyable. In the past I used these cooling pads but they were lousy. I saw this one had slide stops at the bottom of it, which right there I was immediately sold as others I used in the past didn't have that and my laptop would slide off all the time. The fans are large and move a good amount of air and the fans are quiet. My laptop fans do not kick on super high speed anymore when running the AI software. Also, the back feet give great height since I keep my laptop to the side of my main monitor (basically dual monitor setup, but 2nd monitor is the laptop) and this device allows adjustment to lift my laptop up to make viewing easier. Highly recommend this product - great design! I will say the colors do not matter, so just buy whatever color is cheapest as your laptop sits on-top and you never see the fan colors.

It definitely works
It worked way better than what I expected. It won't cool my laptop 100% because I use it a lot for working, programming and sometimes gaming but it reduces the heat o lot. When I was using my laptop without it the heat was extremely high, with this cooling pad my laptop get warm sometimes but it will cool down a few minutes later. Definitely recommend

So Far So Good...
... for an unintended use none the less ! This item has been sitting under the desk for over a year while I procrastinated and delayed putting it to use cooling the [notoriously over heating] AlienWare laptop that is due - Soon, I Promise1 - to replace the aging, cranky - and now without fan ;) - HP Pavilion laptop that has served well through numerous locations and periods of mad & bad use. A N Y W A Y... The KLIM unit unboxed quite smoothly and greeted me with some lovely stickers plus a useful and effective quick start guide as well as an adorable "This Is How Your Product Was Packaged" cartooney insert identifying the KLIM staff at the time of packaging. Setup was smooth and flawless - instructions are barely needed tbh - and the unit appears to be keeping the HP running all kinds of cooler with minimal to non-existent noise @ all four fans on Maximum and a cute green glow underneath. Legs / elevation on the back underside and front topside give the laptop nice lifting from your workv surface even if it's raised a bit much for my taste / long term wrist comfort [?] but only time will tell and.or it doesn't matter because I'll be using a separate keyboard for the AlienWare! Update to follow in the event of misbehavior. RECOMMENDED! Cheers from Texas, Billy

Meh, the fans in my first one didn’t last long
I bought one of these in June of last year (9 months ago) to replace a less flashy one from another brand I’d had for a few years that was starting to not work so well. It’s been pretty good, quiet, keeps my laptop noticeably cooler while I’m playing on it. But I noticed a few weeks ago that the front right fan wasn’t turning anymore. There didn’t seem to be anything (that I could see) that was wrapped around or blocking it. I could reach in with something skinny like a paper clip, and push the fan blade and it would start turning, but if I turned the cooling pad off, when I next turned it on, that fan would again just sit there until I nudged it with something. My laptop’s fan vents and it’s hotspots are all on the left, so it wasn’t a huge deal in my case but I wasn’t impressed with the pad as a whole. Then I dropped something on it (fortunately while my laptop was not on it) and broke the feet, not just off, but into pieces. The fans that worked still worked but I couldn’t put the pad at angle anymore and I really wasn’t okay with that, so I’ve replaced it. (I don’t blame it for the legs breaking, I do wish they were sturdier just for stability’s sake, but in this case it was definitely my bad that they broke.) I ended up buying another one of these exact same units because they’re still the best review/price combo. It’s one of those situations where I wouldn’t mind paying more if there was actually a sign that the more expensive ones would work better/last longer but there seem to be the same ratio of reviews complaining about receiving a dud or the fans dying within a few months at the higher price points, so I guess I’m trying this again. If it also fails in what I think is an unreasonable amount of time (less than a year!) I’ll update this review and definitely won’t try this brand again.

Excellent Cooling Pad with Exceptional Customer Support
I’ve been using the KLIM Wind Laptop Cooling Pad and it has impressed me both in performance and durability. The cooling efficiency is good — the fans are good yet reasonably quiet. But what truly sets KLIM apart is their after-sales support. One of the legs of my cooling pad broke, so I reached out to their support team through Amazon. To my surprise, they responded quickly and shipped replacement legs completely free of cost from their Netherlands warehouse. I didn’t have to go through any complicated process — just a simple message and they took care of everything. It’s rare these days to find products backed by such reliable and customer-friendly service. KLIM not only provides a great product, but also stands behind it with excellent support. Highly recommended!

Impeccable

Barely makes any noise
I previously bought the Cyclone type from KLIM and couldn't stand it because of a whirring sound that drove me crazy within ten minutes of turning it on. This version barely makes any noise and absolutely no whirring. Much much better. It's perfect for my 16" gaming laptop with a bit of space for adjusting and will probably do fine with a 17"

Calidad/precio bastante buena
Ventajas: -Es ligero.
