How does the switching between 4 and 8 way work? Is it possible to do after the joystick is already mounted?

Yes, you can change to 4 way, by switching around the inner ring, it will pop out while mounted no problem. It is a different colour, just twist to release. Then position in either eight way or four way

Instead of 8 buttons blue and the blue joystick could I order 8 yellow buttons and a yellow joystick
