MyLab Math -- Valuepack Access Card

The code worked for my coastline community college math class. The ISBN-13 number from my college said I needed was "Mymathlab - Access Card 2012 ISBN: 978-0-321-26252-3" and it matched perfectly to the one I got. They wanted $100+ from the pearson website, I got the code here on amazon for much less.

Got it! Was a little worried with the reviews but I don't know how you get an acces code that doesnt work and not contact Pearson directly. I got a brand new package. I recorded me opening it-on the off chance it was a bum key. But that wouldn't have been the seller's fault because the key couldn't have been viewed to be used, at least not with how mine was sealed. Thanks!

Do not buy this product I need it for my math class which has been going on for 2 weeks now and the code doesn't work. You are better off just using trial or maybe eventually purchasing the online code on the website. This product came damaged a little bit and had dirty tape on it with a hair stuck to it and when I opened it, it had a strange smell that made me cough for 1 minutes or two. So I wiped it with the disinfectant wipes just in case and also because of the smell. I also forgot to mention that the tape dirty with hair on was suppose to keep the book closed I'm assuming but it came already cut open it does look used considering how the book is a little beaten up some spots have little rips in it.

This was exactly what I needed! You have to have an unused access code to use this product and that is exactly what i received. This item was double at the college book store, so the price is excellent. The seller replied to y questions concerning this product very quickly and even emailed me the code so that i could start on my online math class as soon as i purchased it.

If I wasn't forced to buy it, I wouldn't. I have to say that if you're disciplined enough to take an online course, you could do much worse than this. The problems are worked out for you in the examples. The quizzes use the same scenarios as the homework, except with different values. If you write down the scenarios, you can substitute the values and you've essentially got the answers written down. You still have to essentially know the material, though. It was pretty simple to navigate through, but the way it tried to explain some things (like continuity corrections for prob and stat) seemed to be too passive. If you're completely lost in a math class, I think that this might help, but it won't be a panacea for your math woes. For online classes, though, it definitely wouldn't hurt. I didn't like that it took for granted that you could do certain things on a calculator, too. If you're going to do an example, DO THE EXAMPLE. Don't just give me the answer. That's why I clicked on "example"---to see the program work one out for me.

Extremely expensive but gives you access to the homework, tests, and tutoring for your class. The program is very thorough but can get expensive as you will need an access code for each class you take.

I really don't like my mat lab at all. The plus side is that it keeps you honest when solving a math problem. The down side is that sometimes you really don't know what how the program wants the answer entered. Can be extremely frustrating which is bad because math is already frustrating.

I love this thing. It has the textbook saved electronically on it so I didn't have to buy the textbook for my class. This program is 100 times better at teaching me than my actual College Algebra professor! Although to be fair, he is the worst math professor there is. Very glad I have my math lab.
