A fantastic value. I'm using these exclusively in the foreseeable future for all my commercial builds.
After completing numerous builds with a different light attachment I decided to give this item a try. I liked the first one I purchased so much that I immediately went back and ordered a bunch more to use in future builds. Pros: - Awesome price! You can easily pay 10-times (yes 10) more for this same item elsewhere. - The quick detach is a must for a tac light holder. These are replacing my old screw-tight holders. - Did I mention the price? Incredible especially with free shipping. - Well constructed. Solid. No rattle. Holds the light and is VERY tight on the rail. Cons: - None so far and none expected. When something like this is built right...it is hard to mess up. They did a great job. I'm thinking I'm going to go and order another half dozen. Hoping these don't dry up any time soon. A fantastic value.

Great budget flashlight mount
The Monstrum 1 Inch Offset Picatinny Rail Mount for Flashlights with Quick Release works well with my Surefire and Lux-Pro flashlights. Set screws hold the casing tight around the flashlight so it doesn't move. The quick release works well and holds well. Time will tell if the recoil stresses the quick release loose but so far is working well. I do recommend this mount as a good budget way to mount your flashlight.

Well designed lamp mount.
These mounts are pretty durable. Grab the rails very firmly and do the job you would expect. When they say 1 inch body for the lamp, they really mean it. 1 inch. That's it, no play at all either direction. So make sure you choose your flashlight or lamp well. The drop down or angle of attachment is very clean an effective. Low profile on the mount makes it nice while attached to your rail system. Its alo a benefit I hadn't given any though to at the time of purchase, but the quick release is very cool to have. Makes the lamp easy to use elsewhere with out having to carry your rifle or whatever with you. That of course draws unwanted attention while headed to the outhouse. Again, feel like a fool for not realizing this when purchased. But it a good little design. I purchased two and if the need arises, I will purchase again. Great design and great product for an even better price.

Flashlight holder for AR platform
I bought one unit to fit a Surefire 6P on my AR. Part arrived in a small, cheap and unassuming cardboard box. Installation was a breeze and does not require installation instructions. I have no difficulties whatsoever w/functionality. I have placed the holder at the very front end of the gun rail and am able to activity the flashlight switch w/my thumb. The quality of the product is definitely not the same as for a more expensive US made product but I am paying only a few bucks for it. For the price I paid, I got a very good product and it does exactly what it is suppose to do. The anodizing of the aluminum is flat black, which I prefer over shiny anyway. There are no missed spots and the color of the anodize is uniform. Screws are black and not rusted. It looks like the parts had been tumbled before it was put together and the holder does not have any sharp edges. The lever functions smoothly and mounts tight to the rail. I have taken the unit into the field several times and fired thousands of rounds w/flashlight mounted. So far have not encountered any issues taking the holder off or putting it back on although at night a light is useful for the latter. I believe though that is a function of all holders of that type. I have no complaints about this product knowing that I am purchasing a Chinese-made item.

I really wanted to like this
The issue is finding a flashlight that actually fits. I had a bunch of mini flashlights already and tried those. They are too small to be held in place. I tried rubber foam and tape but couldn’t get it to fit. I went in a quest to find a 1” wide flashlight in Amazon. Some people had mentioned the Streamlight 88063 ProTac 2L-X. I even looked in the specs to see that it is 1” wide. Doesn’t fit in this for me. This was after also trying the Ultrafire mini LED flashlight (502Z flashlight) 2 pack. I’m giving up now. This company probably needs to either sell this with a flashlight or recommend one that works with this mount.

Well-made economy mount
I purchased a different mount from a big box store for a lower price, and I got what I paid for. The legs of the mount were too short to fit over the Picatinny rail, essentially it was useless. This mount fits perfectly. It's lightweight, holds my Streamlight securely, and easily mounts/dismounts on my firearm in seconds.

I rolled (real) electrician's tape around the barrel of the light figuring in a survival role that tape would be useful. It is r
mounted this to a Daniel Defense upper with a 4 sevens AA tactical light. I rolled (real) electrician's tape around the barrel of the light figuring in a survival role that tape would be useful. It is rock solid, there is an adjustable nut near where the light attaches allowing you to dial in the clamping force on the rail. It has a fairly good anodizing job considering the price and all the hardware and machining seems rather good. I don't see 45 dollars of advantage in name brand mounting solutions. This mount isn't perfect but it is great for the price ps it took forever to ship
