Protect your warranty
This is a must if you’re going to install high end flooring in your basement. The warranty required one of 3 methods. I live in a rural area without access to engineers. This simple kit solved the problem. Photograph your results, print and save the photos with your warranty and proof of purchase.

Easy and accurate. You need a postal or better scale
This was just what I needed to determine the moisture throughput of my concrete slab. Easy to use with good directions. But you do need to have a postal or other high-precision scale in order to use this test.

It did the job as advertised, no issues. 3-pack is right what you need for a basement to make your decisions on the kind of (sub)floor options you need. I got 4 to 4.3 lb/1000sqft/12h in my new construction in Ottawa ON. Not sure what the PH kit is for, I tried it and found it pretty inconsistent and useless.
