Amazing quality for the price, but you need to understand who this boot is for.
What I liked:- Excellent quality, handmade near-shore (in Guanajuato, Mexico)- Leather was flawless and smell great- The price for this quality is difficult to beat- Sizing recommendation was spot on (half size smaller than your sneakers)- Supple leather lining and insole- Grippy and durable (read: hard) outsole- Somewhat compliant midsole with cork that will eventually mold to your foot- Break-in did not take too long- Customer service is top notch (if you buy directly from them)What I did not like:- No speed hooks- No gusseted tongue (a partial gusset would have been enough)- Outsole and midsole are very firm, great for durability, not too great for comfort- Kevlar reinforced laces are overkill, and kevlar is abrasive, so when you tie them up it feels like they're made out of sandpaper- Some break-in was required (2-6 wear/hours)- Outsole is not slip resistant on smooth / wet surfacesWho is this for?If you are used to wearing work boots, biker boots, or even cowboy boots, and you don't mind the "walking with planks attached to your feet" overall feel, these will be some of the most comfortable boots you'll ever wear, and the price for the quality (and customer service if you buy directly from them) is hard to beat.If you've only worn Brooks and Nikes for the last five years, these are not for you. You will be in pain. You will walk like a 60 year old. Do not buy these thinking they will feel like hiking boots.

Sizing issues, but amazing boots, in the end.
These are awesome!Though the sizing says size a 1/2 size smaller, I think it's backwards. I wear an 8-8 1/2. I bought the 8 and couldn't even get them on my feet. Returned them, got an 8 1/2 and it was horribly uncomfortable. I decided to try the 9, and they fit like a champ.Having decided I love the boots, I bought a second style, in a 9, and they fit perfectly.🤷♂️Go figure.

Very Comfortable.
Most comfortable boots I’ve tried from them. I have the Captain Storm Kings and the Challengers and these are by far my favorite boot. I manage a retail store and walk on concrete all day. These have been great. Usually go with Redwing work boots because of comfort but these have replaced them. They also look extremely nice and can be dressed up or down. I’m also not mad at no loop hooks, for this boot, it works without them.

Perfect, High Quality Boots
These are a perfect pair of boots in my opinion. They’re super comfortable from day one. I would say they run true to size. The materials all feel really high quality. The rubber sole feels durable but still looks elegant so I can both wear these casually or dress them up. This is my first purchase from Thursday and I’ll definitely be coming back to try their sneakers next.

Super comfortable
Super comfortable right out of the box — no break-in needed at all. I’ve worn them walking around all day and my feet didn’t hurt once. They also just look really good. Clean, simple, and go with pretty much everything I wear. I’ve gotten a few compliments already.Feels like solid quality too — not cheap or flimsy at all. If you’re thinking about it, just get them. I’d definitely buy another pair.
