Works very well. I got all my knives sharp in a jiffy. I've been trying to hone them with those honing rodsrods, just couldn't do it right. This one is a breeze to use. Remember to hold the knife straight and swipe it across smoothly. It's better to use the counter edge while at it. That way the knife will not damage the sharpener. Btw, I did a lot of research on affordable knife sharpeners before zoning into this one.

Till now its good and really sharpens

This is an efficient tool. There are numerous brands of knife sharpeners in the market, but, most of them have only single stage grinding using a Carbide or HSS tool. This one offers a second stage of finishing using a ceramic tool. By finishing the ground knife-edge, the knife would stay keen longer. I tried it out on a couple of knives and the results were good. I have taken away one star because the aluminum part that you see in the picture --- just a cosmetic thing to show the brand name and markings --- has come off. However, that does not affect performance.
