Onyx-Arctic Shield-X-System Quiet Tech Jacket

Product arrived early, well packaged. The fit was as expected. This is a cool weather coat. IT'S weight and color were as expected. The chest pocket(handwarmer pocket) is large enough to fit a good size cellular phone inside with zipper closure. Side pockets have no closure. THIS coat blocks the wind as advertised. I estimate this coat would keep you warm in 40 degree weather, in the wind, with a t.shirt undermeath. Now for the bad news....was advertised as quiet. This could not be further from the truth. EVERY time you move you are greeted with the sound of paper being crinkled. I suspect this is the shielding that blocks the wind but it's way to noisy for hunting land mammals such as deer, bear, elk, etc. I don't even think I'd wear it turkey hunting. I'M hoping a cycle through the wash will quiet it down. IF not I fear I've wasted my money. BUT for the noise factor I would have given 5 stars. IF it quiets down I'll rewrite this review and indicate such.

the jacket is very noisy, would be good for rifle season where you are looking a deer from a distance. Also I was disappointed in the warmth I expected I live in Pensacola fl. and wore it on a hunt and temps were mid 40's and was pretty cold I have other clothing that was warming than this
