Do yourself a favor and buy this! I've had so many of the crappy stamped orange or blue caulk guns that ooze caulk everywhere. This is a great gun and helps with really stiff, cold adhesives. It's built like a tank... I don't see having to replace this any time soon.

The gun works great. Smooth and easy trigger pull produces an even bead of caulk without effort. My only issue is the trigger. I have a medium sized hand and it’s a stretch to pull the trigger. Other than that it’s a great product and I would recommend it over a big box product. Money well spent. July 2020 update Used it quite a bit this summer and it's great. A word of caution, be careful if the caulking tube is plugged - this gun will easily punch through the bottom of the tube.

We buy and live in renovation projects (currently on number 3) and so we do a lot of caulk. I had a caulk gun that was similarly priced (a little cheaper), and I thought it was fine. However, it was a little too small to fit the brand of silicone caulk that we use (had to wrestle the canisters in and out), and I finally had enough and bought this caulk gun. I'm so mad I put up with the old one for so long! This one works like a dream. The trigger action is great - it definitely feels like the hun is "helping" me and making it easier to squeeze the caulk out. (I recently had to squeeze a lot of silicone caulk in cold weather and my arms did get tired - but for most of what I do this works perfect!) It also doesn't leak much when you take your finger off the trigger, even without turning the little hook thing in back to release the pressure on the caulk. It doesn't have a cutter - you have to BYO snips. It does have a poker to break the caulk seals. My favorite part (aside from the smooth trigger action) is that it has tons of room for bigger caulk cartridges. No more wrestling tubes in and out of the gun!

This is a must have. Works very easily with heavy calking. Like polyurethane.

I have used the cheapest caulking gun that the hardware store sells my whole life. I got this for a project where I needed a more aggressive thrust ratio. The build quality is so nice, and my hands do not hate me after using it for any given amount of time. It is worth it. It feels like it will last me a lifetime.

This calk gun is what they say it is. I use a lot of geocell 2000 sealant and have never had a gun that can push this sealant out properly without laying the tube on a warm engine or in direct sunlight. Until now, even in cooler temps.

First time using a Red Devil. I am a 20 year Insulator, running a Business for the last 10 years. I have used every brand u der the sun, thought I would try the Red Devil. I can say, it is well made, heavy duty and runs a nice bead. There are two things that I do not like, the slight Jingle of the Thumb Release and the fact the Plunger is very easy to Slide by itself. Both small issues and most people won't even notice but this being my main tool for 10 hours a day, I notice. Neither ofthese things effect the guns performance. Also, not Drip Less with Acoustical but no gun is, that stuff is nasty lol. Definitely worth the money, great gun.
