Simple and functional
Exactly what you need to use a modern power supply with a floppy drive. This converts from sata-style power supply to a floppy drive device. Seems to be of good quality and fits perfectly in my machine. Connectors are easy to install and are snug but not excessively tight. Overall, great value and functional.

Wrong SATA connector. Should be male and this has female.
This is all great but how do I plug this into hard drive? This comes with female SATA end and it is not possible to find male to male adapter. Totally useless. Why not create a useful cable with male connector?

It is what it is
No I am not using this for floppy drives. There are still a lot of docks, sound cards and other devices that use the Berg 4 pin power connector. Floppy use has been dead for over a decade, DVD and CD roms and motorized drives are soon to follow and the sooner the better. These do what is needed, simple, well built, inexpensive, can't beat it. If you are here looking at this then you must have a need for it.

Never thought I’d need one of these in 2020+…
Rescued a dual 2.5” drive bay for 3.5” floppy expansion port… it’s actually awesome but needed an actual floppy 4 pin. Glad these are out here now. Thanks!

Ho acquistato questo cavetto (nella confezione ne arrivano due) per alimentare una scheda PCIE USB 3.0 che ho aggiunto al mio PC. Consegnato in tempi molto brevi, ed installato. Tutto ok, le porte funzionano perfettamente.
