DCT Jars, (Pack of 3)

Am SO thankful to find this item and in a 3 pack for a fair price! I've used this product for many, many years and then one day I went to go buy a new one and they simply vanished from both my local drug stores! Heartbroken! They only carried the blue jar and so I tried that one at a ridiculous price and it tasted awful. Nor did it condition my very dry lips! It was straight mint menthol that burned my lips. I tried, searched to no avail. I figured it was discontinued for some strange reason. I have bee using a basic Blistex stick, but it's just not the same. I think the only negative about it is that some may prefer a stick firm and I can see why especially in covid days... You have to be careful that you don't stick dirty fingers in the pot. Bacteria, etc. It could transfer a virus, so wash hands, don't share, and there are option, such as a disposable lip gloss applicator that you can get cheap. I usually wipe down the top layer once in a while as a precaution. Personally, I don't mind a jar. This stuff is a luxury, in my opinion. It smells so good and when you get that bit of taste if you should lick your lips, ur lips it's yummy, not medicinal or too intense like many are. I'm guessing it's the combo of cocoa seed butter and camphor, but it does, say it has a "flavor," so I don't know what they put in it for flavor but it so delightful. The is is a daily conditioning treatment. I was asked to rate the sunscreen protection, and I didn't want to bring down the rating, as it deserves 5 stars, but I don't think this product has a sunscreen in it. I don't see anything on the label or ingredients list to suggest it does, but I could be wrong. Be mindful because if you're looking for sun protection, this might not be the right balm for you. But if you are prone to dryness or just like to use a daily lip moisturizer (it's good practice to do so if you want to keep your lips looking good for the same reasons you moisturize your face) then this is great for it. It's got lots of moisturizing ingredients including cocoa butter, and a plant ingredient that is rich in vitamin A, so it will keep lips, soft, supple and help fight lip lines. It also helps patches of dry, scaly flaking skin. Also great if you have allergies to beeswax or are vegan. It does not sting and irritate my lips, which are very sensitive, as I have an inflammatory condition that causes irritation and dryness. It protects my lips. It actually feels like I have a nice layer of balm. I feel moisturized, I don't get cracking, and it leaves my lips with a hint of glossiness that I love. My lips feel and look healthy and moisturized. No more chapped irritated lips in the cold winters. For some reason, I've always been a big fan of lip balm, so I keep it next to bed, in my purse. I can't stand the feeling of dry lips, so I slather it on at bedtime as part of my night skin care routine, before makeup, and reapply throughout the day as needed. I just think this is Blistex best lip product and there's absolutely nothing else like it. The 3 pack is perfect--again, I keep one on nightstand, one in purse and one in the bathroom where I get ready. Price is great. I appreciate the 3 pack. Glad to have it back in my life.

Solid daily lip care! Helps heal cold sores and chapped lips.

came quickly and with having three jars of this old school Blistex I am able to put one in the bedroom, one in the living room at my desk and one for my backpack or mini bag. If i had a car i would keep it in the glove box for winter. It works great for the lips that are chapped and cracking. I have used this product for years and ran out and could not find it at the stores. Thank you for selling this on amazon.

I have been a fan of DCT going back decades. I can't even remember when I started using it. Over all those years I've tried other options and while some were good, nothing kept my lips feeling better during frigid New England winters with the very dry air inside and out. For some reason DCT has become hard to get locally. Places that used to have it at the check-out (for those impulse purchases) don’t seem to have it very often any more. I found this 3 pack with a very decent price here so I ordered and I’m pleased I did. Two pots of DCT last give me a whole season of lip comfort so this 3 pack should finish what’s left of this winter and all of the next. A little goes a very long way. The thing I like about DCT that sets if off from Chapstick or a myriad of other lip products is how light it feels on my lips. None of that waxy feeling I get from sticks and very soothing. As I've gotten older I find I need it more and my lips dry out easer. I depend on DCT to keep my lips supple and crack free. It gets the job done marvelously. DCT has been very good to me. I like the packaging and how each pot has a little internal tamper seal that is easy to remove but gives me comforting confirmation of quality. After so long with such good results I think it's obvious I'm giving DCT 5 solid stars.

The 3 containers came as shown in the attached images. (I'd expected them to come in the cardboard-back packaging you see in stores, but it wasn't an issue because the containers had individual deals.) It's my first time using this product, and it's been working great. My lips dry out terribly when I get cold sores, and getting them back to normal after the sores have healed is always a pain. This balm helped speed up the restoration process. I feel like the way it hydrates lips is better compared to other popular balms (like eos, which seems to wear off after 5 mins, and so requires constant reapplication). However, my absolute favorite lip balm is still Blistex's lip medex (the blue container). I feel like that one works the best for me. Even so, I think DCT can hold its own compared to other brands' products.

Best product to moisturize your lips

I love this product, only one that really takes care of my lips when chafed. Product arrived on time, in order and the price for 3 tubs is very reasonable.
