Scottoiler Xsystem Electronic Chain Oiler - Standard Blue Oil

I got my bike shop to install this as it is a bit fiddly (KTM Duke 200). But it’s been bulletproof since, and kept my chain in fantastic condition. No more worries about gritting salt... in fact, you don’t even have to think about your chain anymore!

Easy to fit and it works. Only downside is pictoral instructions could do with text. A quick search on YouTube solved this.

Acheté il a maintenant 1 mois, j'ai effectué 2000km depuis la pose du scottoiler (+le scorpion dual injector en option). Franchement ça marche du tonnerre. Ça tartine toujours un peu la jante comme de la graisse classique mais comme c'est de l'huile cela fait bien plus propre et la jante est plus simple à nettoyer. 2000km pour environ les 3/4 du réservoir, ils annoncent 10000km avec le pot de 500ml, je pense que ça le fera largement ! Je recommande pour les gros rouleurs qui mange facilement 12/15000km annuelle ou plus :)

Eingestellt auf die minimale Menge, und trotzdem ist die linke Flanke des Hinterrad eingeölt. Das Gehäuse des Rückschlagventils ist obendrein schlampig verarbeitet, daß der Teil danach immer leer lief. Ich bin dann aus Frust auf den Mofessor umgestiegen.

excellent oiler! thought i was maybe taking a chance on getting the esystem for my new bike but I love it even better than the vacuum driven one i used to have - and i really liked that one! The electronic one meters out oil only when you are moving and at pretty even rate regardless of temperature. A great help here in Maine fall and spring where it can be 30F in the mornings and 70F by afternoon.

The product works on my 2018 Honda NC750X DCT. My bike is garaged and I have never taken it off-road. Casual, local and regional, good-weather touring only. Perhaps 1,500 miles over 18 months. The system started dumping oil onto my kickstand and I discovered that the lower nipple is split in two locations. There was no rough treatment or excessive sun exposure possibly causing premature aging of the rubber. I expect a longer useful life. At the price, I expect thousands of miles of use and at least five years. I would also expect this part to be serviceable, which it is not. I reached out to Scott Oiler and we'll see how that turns out.
