Its super sturdy and very easy to install lamp, While assembling you need to attach one rod with the other one, likewise it comes with 5 set of rods but i remove one rod to reduce the height of the lamp.It was a Super fast delivery. A must buy however price wise its on the higher side in compare to Ikea website.Note: It doesn’t come with a bulbThank you seller for shipping ikea products which is not possible to get it in Bangalore.

Price shown here was the same as that printed on the box. The item is available on IKEA website for 999.. product manufacturing date is April 2014.. if IKEA doesn't deliver to you then this is your best bet.. the base is about 2kg.. decent weight, the rods are also powder coated well.. quality is fine.. the lamp shade looks like frosted glass in the pictures but is actually plastic.. needs E27 bulbs.. using it with a Philips smart bulb.. works perfectly fine.. fair deal at best

Its really nice and makes the place that you put it more beautiful. The problem that I find with it is that the lamp shade is too short and no matter which bulb you use its sticks out like a sore thumb. Further if you want to use a Smart Bulb, 99% of which are available in India are with B22 holder, it sticks out more as you would need to use a E27 adapter.A solution could be that Ikea sells these with the bulb so that it looks the way they want that it should look like. Still Im not sure if the bulb they will provide will actually remain hidden inside the lamp shade.

Definitely worth the money. Without a doubt the best lamp available at this price point.Sure it can be bought cheeper from IKEA itself, but they're only in Mumbai and Hyderabad at the moment, so buying from elsewhere, it is worth it, the quality more than justifies the price.People who see it will think it costs much more than this. And IKEA is a global brand, you can buy with confidence.Note: You will need an E27 bulb to go along with it. Wasn't written in the description. 7 watts LED E27 gave sufficient brightness for me.

Worth the price and it's very simple to assemble... Even for a novice. Quite sturdy given the solid base which holds the pipes together along with the top shade. Elegant to look at and adds a grace and elegance to the living room. Can't expect more for this price and it stands out easily reasonable! The only con is that it requires an E-27 bulb, which is a screw type unlike the most commonly used B-22 in India. Yet, with a little effort it can be sourced locally from any Electrical store or procured on order from Amazon itself. Admire Amazon for the great transparency and quality of deliverables which makes it the best e-commerce vendor across the world! Truly, Amazon rocks and tops, standing always at No.1 and I've never been disappointed even once!! Look at my video on assembling the product from unpacking till it's end look. Alexa echo/ Google dot compatible - use the wifi bulb - e27 type6. i don't know why they described it as plastic lamp - the pedestal is made of metal - powder coated aluminum pipeCons:1. shade is plastic but looks classic2. simple design so the cable and switch is hanging along the pedestal rod.3. no other cons i can think of.

I wanted a nice floor lamp from a long time but all the lamps that i saw on amazon and on flipkart were really expensive and not to my liking. Than i found this awesome lamp.It is a really nice modern looking lamp only downside is its available for cheaper on ikea website but they only deliver to hydrebad and mumbai. If you love minimalism then definitely this lamp is for you. It is very easy to assemble. I've bought 3 Watts screw LED Warm color and it's adorable. The price is fluctuating in amazon. I've bought it at good deal about Rs.1,400/- but the actual retail price at IKEA is somewhat cheaper. But still the price is worth.

Even from the beginning I was impressed with this, just for it's ease of assembly. When put together after very few minutes, I liked its appearance and especially the quality of the light produced by the recommended (but not included) soft, warm, LED light. It is a very simple and unsophisticated product, but with a sleek modern appearance which would blend in with almost any room. It has just one on/off control, which I like because almost nothing can go wrong. After purchasing one to replace a lamp which had failed, I was so impressed that I immediately purchased another for a neglected location. More than worth the low price.

Es una lampara súper fácil de armar, muy ligera y no ocupa mucho espacio por lo que es conveniente para espacios reducidos con poca luz. Se ve muy bonita aunque es importante considerar que el cable es visible, por si para alguien es importante, y que la parte blanca es de plástico pero vale la pena porque por el precio se obtiene una lámpara bonita y bastante útil.

I had already purchased the two Ikea 400 lumen bulbs for six bucks (a value, compared to other prices I've seen for these recently introduced LED lights shaped like a regular light bulb). My plan was to substitute them as needed around the house, but then I saw the Ikea Floor Lamp and knew that, for the price, this would be the perfect light to add some much-needed illumination in the vincinity of our piano and over-flowing music cabinet.The lamp is comparatively lightweight compared to a couple of florescent lights in the same room, yet the base and pole pieces strike me as sufficiently "weighty" and durable to stay in place and "stand tall." The lamp is shipped in a surprisingly compact box, but it contains all you'll need for complete assembly except, of course, a light bulb and instructions. (The "instructions" are no more than a paragraph of precautions about the use of polarized plugs.)The sheet also includes 4 diagrams--no doubt sufficient for experienced assemblers. Should you encounter difficulties, here are the tricky parts:1. Start by screwing the top pole piece to the base of the bowl. The diagram may initially lead to a conclusion that the screw required to fasten the bowl is missing. It's not. It's the assembly that's already screwed into the base of the bowl. Turn it counter-clockwise and lift it out. Put the bowl over the top of the pole and use the piece you've just unscrewed to screw the bowl on to the pole, turning it clockwise.2. Now you're left with four (4) additional pieces of the pole. They're identical, so the order in which you place them is of no concern. With the pole constructed, all 5 pole pieces securely in place, screw the whole assembly into the bottom base. Now's the time to tighten it sufficiently to ensure an erect pole, with no sign of bend or droop.3. Finally, what to do about that electrical cord that some reviewers find so "unsightly"? Ikea has include 2 clips (as shown in the diagram). They should come clipped on a pole piece or on the electrical cord itself. Take them off of the pole or cord so that you can clip them to the best place to ensure a straight, non-obtrusive cord--usually, the top piece of the pole and the piece right below it. Notice that the clips are made so that the cord can be inserted into its own "channel," which is integral with each clip.Of course, Ikea should have included a "Parts List" and a clearer explanation of where to find some of the key pieces (or simply had them all bundled in a small plastic bag). Initially, I mistook the "turning directions" in steps 1 and 2 as additional hardware. But despite these mistakes, I had everything in place--the light standing tall and shining brightly--in less than 12 minutes. At its current Amazon price, I'd consider the lamp an exceptional value.
