Barnes & Noble Dessin Leather Cover for Nook Color & Nook Tablet Digital Reader - Noir

I was surprised that this item was not available in the Barnes & Noble store I went to in Sarasota, FL.I was told I could get it online and assumed they meant through B&N. Their website said I could get it "in the store". A friend recommended I try Ebay or Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to find it there. The quality was as good as the one I originally purchased, it arrived much quicker than I expected and I am very pleased with it. A choice of colors rather than basic black would have been nice but this will do for now.

It's glossier than I thought it was going to be. I think it looks more matte in the photo. Does NOT fit the Nook 1st Edition. If I had the Nook Color or Nook Tablet I think I would like the cover. I've attached some pictures of the inside, because I think if I had seen the 3-point clip mechanism before I bought it, I would have known my smaller Nook would not fit.

I love having a pocket inside, however I miss the magnetic closing tab that was on my first cover. I'd like to see B&N make covers available for all their readers rather than just the newest models; of course this is a gimmick to encourage us to buy a new Nook tablet.

First of all I would like to thank the seller of this item. All that my mom wanted for christmas was a cover for her nook exactly like the one she had (the old cover was pink but this black one was just as nice) for her old nook that she refuses to replace. I can not tell you how much time I spent looking for one. It is nearly impossible these days! Once again thank you soo much!

The product claimed to be new but the outer packaging was extremely beat up so I had to take the product out of its case and gift it that way. The product looked new but the packaging was not presentable at all which in turn made me questions whether or not the product was actually new.

Recently gave a friend my Nook Color because I upgraded to the Nook HD+ so when I came to find a cover for my case I thought I would look for one for him friend also. Since hes a guy I figured he would want something basic and dark not to flashy and this is what I found. I myself also love this look and wish they had it for the HD+ also. This cover costs way more at Barnes and Noble and you're getting here for a steal who wouldn't love that.

This is a great replacement case for my official nook case that cracked at one of the corners. The pocket seemed useless to me, at first.I soon realized I could easily hold my nook with one hand by putting my fingers up into the pocket. An excellent product, unfortunately for me this nook case is sturdier than the now useless brick it is protecting.

I received this cover as a gift to replace the original Nook cover I purchased almost four years ago. That cover (same maker and very similar design) served me well, but simply wore out! I like the simple design and the feel of leather...almost like holding a regular book, but with the convenience of a Nook. It's a good product that I expect to last another few years!
