Quite fun! You can just
Quite fun! You can just watch the bug find its own path and trace it endlessly. But you will need lots of batteries - comes cheap though. The bug vibrates to move, hence the excessive battery consumption. It's still a good buy, for your own or to gift. My son loves it.

Good, almost great - fitting precision downs.
The curved pieces don't seamlessly join with precision and can get the hexbug stuck at the joints sometimes. More snap on route gates for the hexpad would have been nice. 4 stars, just about.

HexBug Jammer
Misaligned. Causes bugs to get stuck inside the tubes and has to be disassembled to remove the bugs.Waste of money. I dunno why they are still selling and why I bought inspite of so many negative reviews

Works, but "buggy"
Added it to my existing habitat. It works, but 90% of times the bug gets stuck inside the loop. The plastic and build quality of the loop could be better.
