All of our alarm clocks have failed over the years and are extremely difficult to set the time and alarm time - we always have to get out the manual which drives us crazy. These have been Timex, Sony, and RCA products. These wonderful alarms are ridiculously simple to operate and incredibly small on our night stands. Only two buttons really. The huge button is a wheel that you spin to set the time and alarm time. Wonderfully simple. It is also the snooze button that you tap if you want to snooze. Also in the morning if you want to turn off the alarm (not snooze) but have the alarm time preserved for the next morning, you just hold the big button down for three seconds. Easy to do in the dark when sleepy but getting up. The other little button, still easy to find in the dark, is a more manual on/off button to turn on or off the alarm function. If you use this button on arising to turn off the alarm, you will need to push the button again the following night to turn the alarm back on if you want it. EASY AS PIE!!!!! AND, the footprint of these alarms in really small which is great. The light brightness control is done by tapping the big round button sequentially. The brightness levels go from barely visible in the dark to very bright. The ":" does blink. The brightness is interesting in that the face of the clock is tilted slightly upwards which makes it easy to read while sitting up or walking in the room. When you lie down and look at the clock face from your pillow height, the light level is now dimmer because you are not looking at the clock face straight on. Interesting effect. Therefor it is easy to pick a brightness that you like, but should be done while lying down to test for nighttime readability but proper dimness when lying down in bed. One other point. The alarm jingle is pleasant and does automatically go from quiet to loud, but this happens over just a few seconds at most, therefore it is effectively at full volume. Not really a bad thing, but it does not encourage you to stay in bed. It is loud enough that it will get you up and going. Not soft. Appropriately loud. I really like this device. We bought the white model which blends nicely with our white night stands. Highly recommended. We will be buying more for other rooms.

About the size of the palm of your hand, so a fairly small alarm. Can't adjust the alarm volume, but it's loud enough. Doesn't have weekday/weekend alarm settings, but it's still easy to set for the next day--just hold the big button down a couple seconds and the alarm will reset with the same time the next day. It's also the snooze button, but there's enough of a press delay that you won't reset the alarm when you're just trying to snooze; plus resetting the alarm comes with a beep. Really like that the alarm time is displayed on the face of the clock as well as the AM/PM next to it so that you don't have to wonder if you remembered to set it, or worry about that whole Seinfeld AM/PM alarm setting mistake. Also the clock is dimmable enough that the numbers won't blind you when you're trying to sleep with your alarm close to you which is a problem with most other clocks. I got this thing mainly because my power flashes off a few times a week. I have the batteries in it and I've tested it by setting the alarm and then unplugging and re-plugging the clock, and the settings are all saved when it gets unplugged and it doesn't lose time.

I don't write reviews, let alone for alarm clocks, but this one is great. In decluttering and modernizing our furniture, I needed a small and simple, yet modern looking, alarm clock. I was not having much luck so was fully expecting to have to return this one too. Turns out, it's perfect. It's very small and looks clean and sleek on a nightstand, yet the numbers are easy to see. It has a modern look. Best of all, it's so simple to set up. I hate reading instruction manuals, so this was a dream. It has 3 light settings as well. I read some reviews about the too loud alarm, but I did not think that it was louder than most. The alarm is musical, rather than the jarring buzzer sound, so it makes up for the slightly louder volume. This was a good purchase.

I am enjoying my alarm clock immensely. I do think the price is a bit pricey, but I have been looking for an alarm clock for quite a while, and I do enjoy the fact that this has two USB ports and does not take up much space on the night stand. The directions were clear, but I did have to push some buttons on the back for the 12 hour and 24 hour feature. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase and do not regret it at all. I am very happy with the musical chime feature, and the the three different levels of brightness. I would buy this alarm clock again.

I love the size and streamlined, modern look of this clock, and even though the controls are different than you might be used to, it is pretty intuitive to set the time and alarm. I have two issues with it that I hope they fix in future models: one, the face is very shiny and thus reflective... it can be difficult to see what time it is if light is reflecting off the face. Also, the alarm chime is pleasant -- it starts off soft and gets louder which sounds ideal but it gets REALLY loud! No way to adjust the volume that I can find. If you are a light sleeper you don't need this kind of volume to wake up.

What a great little clock! The simplicity is awesome, and I love the fact it takes so little space on the dresser! PROS: Space saving Simple and easy to set. And an understandable manual. Offers USB charging (that did not matter to me) Brightness control Battery backup Easy to read/clearly shows when alarm is set CONS. These features did not matter to me, hence the 5 star rating. If these matter to you, you might look for another model: No auto daylight savings adjustment No volume adjustment for the alarm No multiple alarms The “:” separator between hours and minutes blinks (not major, but annoying).

Neat little clock! Expensive for what it is, but serves its purpose perfectly.
