A little pricey but I love Laboy's glassware. Not kemtech-thick but equally free of defects.

I like everything I get from laboy. some other brands have fitting issues and often wont fit my clips correctly. not so with laboy. they are now my go-to for all glassware. If laboy has it, I'll get it from them.

Good glass. Joint is well ground and fits tight. Well packed. Always clean and never broken.

It's a perfect item that matches with the sets Laboy has to offer, if only it was cheaper buying them separately than all on one offering. 😜

They are a great way to expand your Laboy set if you keep a few things going on at the same time. I was pleasently suprised at how having everything compatible in terms of the ground glass joints increased the overall flexibility of my set. This is because, unlike the specialty round-bottom or spherical boiling flasks, these flat bottom flaskes can be used as temporary storage as well. I use my other glassware much less freqentlynow.I do think that the outer edge if the bottom could be a bit harder. It can be a bit difficult to ensure that your flask is sitting perfectly flat on the hot plate when you are trying to set up a full distillation configuraton. They can very easily roll to the side a little bit, without being noticed, while getting everythign secured. That's the only reason I gave it a 4.The reason I didn't give them a 5 is that the the shape of the bottom __ __ / \_____/ \/ \

Mixed 240 ml at 130°F. Bottom is slightly concaved but has a flat spot in the center for the stir bar. Worked excellent and is short enough to have standard digital thermometer in while mixing. Shipping was a bit slow when you're used to prime shipping, but worth the wait.

Good quality for the price. Never had problems with Laboy glass unlike other overseas manufacturers. Would order again if I needed more. Average to fast shipping time considering how far it has to travel.
