Work fine on 24 gauge solid copper wire
Since 2 pairs of my old wire strippers only work down to 22 gauge STRANDED copper wire, I was hoping these would work on 24 gauge SOLID copper wire without having to fiddle with them and without damaging the core and they do. Quality seems OK, not very heavy duty but for a homeowner and the price paid, they are just fine. Didn't want to spend $25-40 on a name brand pair that I use once every few years............

Inexpensive but not cheaply made! Work very well for thin wire!

It works as advertised.
Truth be told I have only used it on one project so far, but is has met my expectations as far as a small gauge wire stripper can. I am only using it for DIY projects so far, so I don't know if it will handle industrial use, but it seems to work quite well. It cuts smoothly, with good grip. I also broke my hand a while back, so my grip strength isn't what it used to be. This thing has been comfortable in my hands, and it doesn't hurt to squeeze down on it.

Nice strippers! Highly recommended!
So, I am actually a really big fan of the standard common red wire strippers from Harbor Freight. I've gotta have at least 5 or 6 sets of them laying around all over the place, in different tool boxes. They are sharp, and cheap--like less than $5, if I remember correctly. However, from what I recall, they only go down to about 20 awg. And when you're trying to strip ethernet cable wires, or small landscaping wires, or working with other fine electronics, you really need something that can handle the smaller gauge. For the $7 I paid for these, I am absolutely stoked. They go down to a really small wire gauge, have a good grip, and have a nice tight spring for good recoil. Little manufacturing oil residue on the metal portions, which wipes off easily. But, before you wipe it off, I prefer to leave it on there, to keep them from rusting. I can't believe it has taken me this long to order a set, instead of using a box knife or my teeth... Would buy these again!

Perfect Wire Stripper for small wires
I needed a wire stripper for a very small wire and this tool did a great job of stripping it. It was easy to use and it was a great addition to my tool collection.

Good for budget
I’m not sure they’ll last the rest of my life, but they don’t need to; for the price they’re really good and do exactly what is advertised.

Easy to Use Wire Stripper
I've only used this twice since I got it - the project that prompted me to get it was done before it arrived - but the tool stripped the wires easily and cleanly. Seems to be a great tool for a great price.
