Saved my plumerias!
I live in Central Coastal California, zone 11. I bought 2 10x20 rectangles. The 2018-19 winter has been extraordinarily cold. Temperatures dropped into low 40's in November and sustained low 30's for weeks at night with several dips into the 20's. I have put up and taken down almost every day (its now March). The longest amount of time I left planket on was 5 days. I made sure the blanket did not touch the plants by using tall stakes, clothesline clips, and heavy duty office clips and pool noodles on tips of branches to hold planket away. A few times I weighted it down with planters and bricks due to wind. So far I haven't had any frost or ice damage. Sun does get through it and it can get too hot, much like a greenhouse. The blanket is light weight, thorns can tear it, and so can tying it too tightly. The fabric does not run, but can pull apart in a tear if caught on something like a nail, screw, or thorn. Even damaged a bit it still works. Water does get through it and weighs it down. It is a plastic material so will transmit cold through to plant, that is why I staked it above and out from the plant. I am so glad I had these on hand when the temps went so cold! I will be buying a few more for next season to cover my small greenhouses for more insulation, and to protect all the seedlings I have started this year. I will be smarter next year though and make sure I use against a wall of house to give height and act as another side to the planket. (My umbrellas would tip over too often. ) I did not receive anything for this review.

Sturdy And Large
This is thick, but breathable. It's so large, that I was able to cover my entire flower bed, and cut a piece off to use for my smaller bed. We had super high winds, and are expecting snow later in the week. The added holes with eyelets helped me out a lot. I was able to tie this down so that it wouldn't blow away. This is my first time using one of these, but I chose it because a friend recommended it, and said that it successfully protected her plants last year. I'm very happy with the purchase. So happy, that I had to come back and write a better review. Thank you seller.

Good, Big Fabric Tarp
Big tarp and relatively inexpensive. Has some holes or securing, but I use bricks to secure with metal binder clips (used in offices) to close off any openings. Not very heavy duty so pointy branches will eventually poke thru if there is any weight on them, but this is meant for occasional cold snaps if you're in a temperate part of the country. The dark green color probably doesn't let a lot of light through so probably not good for long term covering. It is fabric not plastic, so easier to maneuver and fold and lets some moisture through when it rains.

Great Frost Covers.
Have used these before. They work excellent here in Southern Arizona. Maybe a little more expensive but worth it. Would order this and smaller ones again

Fabric good but grommets are trash
The fabric itself worked well to keep frost off, but the grommets are trash. They popped off before I could get it set up. If they would have held, I think the wind would have made them tear out of the fabric because the fabric is not doubled over... it's just a grommet in the single layer. This is a serious design flaw.

Year round use
This isn't the first Planket I've purchased. I've used one to protect new plants in the Spring and for giving extra coverage to other more delicate plants. This Planket will be used to wrap around a Crepe Myrtle tree. The length of this cover will be perfect for ensuring it's covered from top to bottom and extra cover around the base. The metal clips I got at the same time will replace the clothespins that don't want to stay in place when it's windy.

Using 10x20 to Protect the Lawn
Giving the 10x20 foot to protect the lawn from all the stone to city uses at the intersection. Hopefully they hold up to weight of the stone and I can just shake them out in the spring. Some grommets hold, but many don't. Most likely because it's barely crimped to the material. Diameter of the washer size should be larger with the same size hole and that would fix the problem.
