I purchased the FORTEM Ratchet Straps ahead of a big house move where I needed to secure furniture and boxes on a trailer, and they’ve performed absolutely brilliantly. These straps are a must-have if you need to transport anything safely and securely. The first thing you notice is the quality of materials. The straps themselves are made from thick, strong polyester webbing that feels robust and durable. Rated for a massive 748kg breaking strength, you can genuinely trust them to hold heavy loads without fear of snapping or fraying. Each strap comes with a ratchet mechanism and solid metal hooks on each end. The ratchets are smooth and easy to operate — you simply feed the strap through, crank it to the desired tension, and lock it into place. It’s quick, efficient, and most importantly, safe. I used them to secure a mix of furniture, toolboxes, and household goods to a trailer and roof rack, and they held everything firmly in place for hours of motorway driving. Even when we encountered rougher country roads, nothing shifted. The webbing is resistant to weather too — we got caught in heavy rain for part of the journey, but the straps dried quickly and didn’t absorb water, sag, or weaken. Great peace of mind knowing they can handle UK weather conditions. One thing I really like about these straps compared to cheaper versions is that the ratchet mechanism is solid without being overly stiff. These straps are very well made, the ratchet mechanise is very sturdy and has a durable plastic handle that makes them feel much more "executive" than all metal versions. They are easy to use, and easy to release. My use is slightly unusual, I'm suspending a camp bed in my car with them. This means I can adjust the length of each strap individually to get a level bed, even when parked on an uneven field. But most people will be using them to strap things down during transport. I also done this, and they hold very securely. I read on another review that the soft straps where not in the box, I was a bit worried about this as these are the ones I will use most. Thankfully mine arrived with everything included so hopefully missing straps is a rare occurrence. I looked at a few options for straps, there were plenty around this price point but most of the others looked cheap. These feel and look like they would cost a lot more than they do. Because of the way I'm using them I really love the plastic handles, they look much better inside a car like this than the metal ones would. I'm really happy with these straps and I'd buy more if I needed them.

Great straps, moved several bikes in the past few days, tight, secure and leaves no marks on the paint and chrome (if used correctly). Would suggest these to anyone with light to midweight motorcycles.

So far so good... Great value for the money. Also them being black reduces the chance of them being taken by fellow workers. Nice and secure, length.

Good strong tie downs

I bought these when there was a coupon for them for a couple of dollars off, and I've used them twice now since getting them and I'm super impressed! Now when I see things like "4 soft loops", I'm almost immediately skeptical that they are just including useless stuff so that they can add to the number of "pieces" in the kit to make it sound more impressive. But that is not the case here. This is a quality pack of straps and they are far superior to other strap sets I've used. First of all, the steel ratchet ends are coated in a plastic covering which makes using them in cold weather, and especially when trying to release them, a whole lot easier than ones that are not coated in a softer material. It's not until you want to strap something, say to your roof rack, that doesn't have proper hook locations that you realize how important the "4 soft loops really are! They allow you to strap to something like a roof rack rail that is too thick for the normal hook, and the soft-loop loops around the rack rail and forms a loop for your hook to securely hook onto and then you ratchet it down. The ratchets work great, and with the plastic coating on the handles, that also makes them bigger and easier to manipulate it's a breeze to tighten and release them. The straps are a great super bright neon green color that makes them highly visible and if you're a Baller, you'll appreciate the nice bright color compared to the dull and bland looks of other straps. When you're driving down the highway with a couch strapped to your roof, other will notice your bright neon green straps and be like, "Whoa, check out that baller with the bright green straps! That's awesome!!". And finally, all the straps and tie downs and soft loops come in a very nice zip-up bag that you can store in your car or truck and keeps the all in one place and it even has a set of handles on the bag. Super convenient! If you need a set of straps, or just want a set just in case, or if you're a Baller who just wants to show them off, these are the ones to get! Even a full price, they are a great value for what you get!!

Seems very good and quite stong. For $10 per strap its good value I've been using them for over a week to hold up my postie to work on it. And i've since bought a second pack to leave in my ute. I've attached a photo
