You get what you pay for! I’ve had this iron for a half hour and I quickly curled my fine hair on the low setting. Curl never stays in my hair… Until now. I have purchased knock offs and other similar curlers from drugstore brands and they last 3- 6 months before they don’t heat up as well or unevenly. This is very well made and it feels very sturdy and durable. Arrived quickly and I love the glitter red! This is my hair after trying to brush out the curl. With previous irons, one brushing and the curl was gone.

My wife bought this Beachwaver B1 in the "Pink Sunset" color as a gift for our granddaughter, and let me tell you, it was an absolute hit. I don't pretend to know a whole lot about hair tools myself, but seeing how much she loves using it—and how nice her hair looks when she visits—makes it an easy 5 stars in my book. According to our granddaughter, the automatic rotating feature is a total game changer. She used to spend forever doing her hair with a regular curling wand, but this 1-inch ceramic barrel speeds up the process and gives her those perfect, effortless-looking beach waves that are so popular right now. As for the quality, it feels incredibly sturdy and well-made. The Pink Sunset color is also really vibrant and cute in person; she was thrilled the second she pulled it out of the box. If there is a minor downside to mention, she did tell us there was a slight learning curve right out of the gate. Because it has left and right rotation buttons, it took her a couple of tries to keep from accidentally spinning the hair the wrong way or pressing a button by mistake. However, after about ten minutes of practicing, she got the hang of it completely. It is also a bit of an investment compared to standard curling irons, but given the time it saves her and how often she reaches for it, the value is definitely there. This iron was a gift for my daughter, she loves it. She likes that all she needs to do is press a button and it winds the hair around itself. I bought it for her almost a year ago and the iron still works like the she received it, though she doesn't use it all the time, so there's that. It gets good and hot, there are heat settings. It's an overpriced curling iron but she was thrilled so I'm happy, though I would not spend that much on an iron again.

I have been using curling irons for over 30 years, and Beachwaver is by far the best curling iron ever! The curls are amazing and they stay all day! Using this iron is so easy- it doesn’t take long at all to get used to it. It also works on all hair types- my hair is thin and wavy, my Asian daughter has thick straight hair, and my younger daughter has thin, straight hair. This curling iron works for all three of us! It is worth the money!

I bought this about a year ago and only used it occasionally. One thing I have to point out is the designed obsolescence of the switch function. The switch is held in place by only two very small round plastic tabs that press against the switch when you push it from either side. They are not very durable, especially if you press either button all the time while curling your hair. After only a couple of months of occasional use, I started noticing that the switch would occasionally get stuck. About a month later, both of the small plastic tabs broke off completely, and the switch stopped functioning. I opened it up to see what happened and found that those two small plastic tabs were the problem. My advice is to press the switch lightly and carefully if you want it to last longer. Once the switch loses its hold, you may also be able to restore its function by using something adhesive or sticky to replace or support the two small plastic tabs. Overall, the product itself worked fine when it was functioning, but the switch mechanism is clearly a weak point and does not seem designed for long-term use.

This curler is so good. Bought this for my daughter and she loves it and it is a giant curler which is good for longer hair. She loves the automatic turning feature on it. It’s quite pricey but it is worth it!

If you are in australia, do not buy, is not compatible with AUS power outlet. and they are wanting me to pay for shipping on return. Very disappointing. I didn’t pay for shipping to receive the item.
