So is this product free of sulfates, parabens , mineral oil and petroleum?

Yes. The paraben alternative that they use is "phenoxyethanol" which is used as a preservative to fight of bacteria that would cause the product to go bad. The other ingredient that's not a plant extract is "cetyl alcohol" which is an alcohol derived from fats like coconut oil or palm oil to help the oils and waters in the conditioner mix when they normally would separate. I hope this helps.

Does this help detangle your hair at all??

YES...It is great. I love it. I used to painstakingly detangle my hair while I have the conditioner in that I use after shampooing. But with GDLI , I shampoo, condition, rinse, towel dry, section hair in fourths, apply about a quarter size amount of GDLI and Voilla...I smile as I comb through my hair with ease. I am reordering for myself & introducing to my daughter for my GrandBs.

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

Yes because I have color treated hair and I havent had any issues. It's also organic so it doesnt have harsh chemicals that will strip your hair.
