On our very first trip with our Class C, the original door lock failed in the worst way—the metal mechanism snapped in half, and we were locked out of the RV with nachos cooking in the convection oven. Thankfully, the nachos turned out perfect, but the lock was a total loss. We ordered this RV Designer T507 replacement, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The lock shipped quickly, arrived in great condition, and was incredibly easy to install. Even as a first-time Class C owner, I had no trouble swapping it out. Once installed, the door felt secure again, and the deadbolt adds a reassuring extra layer of safety. After the stress of being locked out on our first trip, this replacement gave us the peace of mind we needed. Highly recommend for anyone who wants reliability and security for their RV door.

Fit perfect on a 2017 Forest River FR3. Took all of 5 min to install.

This is a replacement entry door lock that fit our 2004 Damon Challenger class A motorhome. It is an extremely good upgrade from the original lock. It has a steel latch not pot metal that breaks like the original one did. I had to chisel the original one off in the middle of the Mojave Desert wilderness. The only way out was to climb out of the drivers window and find a chisel to cut it into about 12 pieces to just get the door opened with out damaging the entry door itself. Had to use a tiedown strap then to hold the door closed to drive 2 more days to get home. I recommend it even with the high price. It is as described in the listing. It is heavier duty than the original. It uses 2 different keys and they do not interchange, 2 keys for the entry lock and 2 keys for the deadbolt and a good locksmith can cut more keys if needed.

Replaced TriMark 05J lock on our motorhome. Came with 4 keys....perfect fit. Took 10 minutes to install. I knocked off 1 star because it did not come with a replacement gasket for the outside. A bit spendy, but we tried fixing it for 2 hours first, so this felt like a better, easier solution.

Replaced the old style with this one on our horse trailer. Works better than the original one. The original one was always tight and then one day the handle snapped off. The new design is better and I don’t think I will have the same issues as time goes on. I will buy more once the others break.

This worked for my 2014 Acer Thor Motor Coach like a dream. Took the old one out, once we got the door open. The installation of this one slipped right in right in.

This is a well made, solid RV door lock. It looks identical to the one which broke, but is full metal and much more solid. It fitted perfectly.

This product met our needs 100%. During install I followed instructions to replace the flat door latch assembly which required removing about 12 screws, however overall was a total solution. This worked for my 2008 SunSeeker by Forest River RV motor home exterior door. Bruce
