Bargain good quality ear buds
I've had these for about 4 weeks now. This is my first pair of wireless buds. I was worried they might fall out and get lost. They fit so well I have no worries about losing one. Even a vigorous shake of the head doesn't seem to move them. In spite of that they're very comfortable even after hours of listening. The sound quality is what I like most. So musical and pure sounding. To me they sound much better than far more expensive headphones I've had over the years. The noise reduction doesn't seem to make much difference on or off, but the sound isolation is so good it doesn't matter. The battery seems to last ages and they get a top up when stored in the case. The only very slight negative is the control buttons on them. I press them every time I adjust one or even touch the side if my face, either pausing the music or putting them into ambient mode by mistake. Another press and is all sorted but not ideal. In terms of pairing and controlling, the app is good and they pair easily. The price is good at the moment because there is a newer version but I would say get them while they're cheap and still available.

Nice sound. Good bass . Comfortable
I am impressed though I've only had them an hour. Nice sound for the money. Voices sound just about right. Quite a bassy backdrop to the sound. As soon as I placed them in my ears felt comfortable and unattrusive, nor did either of them feel like they were about to drop out - I have trouble with my right ear! So far with all bells and whistles switched on power levels on ' both ' earbuds are balanced the same and have dropped to 70% equal. The charging case and buds seemed to have all been fully charged up which is very convenient and I didn't have to charge before use! Thank you Sony. More later Today on my third day I've had these buds in for two hours and they are both still showing 100%! I am still impressed by the comfort and sound quality in particular the surprising deep bass I've experienced ,real ' basso profundo' very good value for money so far! My image is it's status after use from 10am to 4pm! Impressed 👍 I can't understand where those deep notes come from! When they get multipoint I think they will be very good value for money! If I lost a bud they are cheap enough to buy again. Good value! Yesterday I was watching the Coronation of King Charles III and listening on these earbuds such a powerful sound!! And wide sound stage too. Powerful sound of the choirs state trumpeters and even deep notes from the organ at Westminster abbey. Remarkable!! A little tip for Sony 700n users. As you might know, this app can connect with two different devices. I have got mine connected to my Surfans MP3 player, which means I can leave that device in my pocket or backpack and operate everything from the Sony app. It's easy to connect and quite convenient. This includes changing the volume and tracks and all the normal functions of the Sony app, including your MP3 player. Very convenient!

Worth the money
I got these to replace my Sony Linkbuds S which developed an overheating problem. The Linkbuds were originally about twice the RRP of these ones so I wasn't expecting them to be as good. The sound quality is very good, there's very little in it compared to the Linkbuds, the only place I noticed it was when I adjusted the bass in the accompanying app it felt a bit mushy. They are still very Sony sounding, if you know what I mean. They are slightly comfier and fit well in the ear than my old ones, and feel lighter although I don't think they actually are. Very easy to connect to a phone and the Sony app lets you control the EQ amongst other things. The matt black appearance looks and feels good, and the build quality seems to be excellent. The case feels sturdier than the Linkbuds one. The noise cancelling is pretty good – I think a little better than the Linkbuds but the ambient sound mode isn't as good and has very noticeable white noise which is annoying. Overall they are very good for the money. Looking at my past purchases, I paid £140 for the Linkbuds and only £52 for these making them well worth the price.

Excellent in-ears which live up to their reputation
First of all, I am used to listening to music on a pair of B&W PX7s which cost about £300 when new. I paid £70 for these Sony WF C700N headphones on Amazon as I wanted a pair of in-ears I could fall asleep listening to at night. I amazed at their sound quality for the money. It is detailed and spacious. The bass is rich but not overblown (unless that’s what you want) and can be adjusted to taste to suit all types of music. The higher frequencies are sweet and detailed, not shrill and harsh. These in ears sound equally good listening to modern jazz, rock, metal and orchestral film music (yes I listen to all of these regularly). The app works well and contains useful features. I find the noise suppression is very effective (provided the correct size of ear buds are used - Sony provide three sizes). I like being able to tune them to keep dialogue but remove other background noise. These in-ears are light and comfortable so I hardly notice wearing them and they don’t fall out. Battery life appears to be perfectly adequate in the one week I’ve owned them. How could they be improved? Wireless charging would be nice but probably not realistic at their regular selling price, without a trade off somewhere else. How do they compare to my B&Ws which I really like? The Sony’s sound more balanced across the frequency spectrum which is definitely not a bad thing - more a matter of taste. Because they are small and light I find myself listening to them more often. The B&Ws can only be listened to seated. If I had a choice of which to buy new today I would opt for the Sonys, no question about it. Fantastic sound/value! I would like to compare the 700Ns with Sony’s WF-1000XM5 to see if they are really that much better. I doubt they can beat the 700Ns for VFM.

Really Poor Earbuds
These are an unmitigated disaster, they sound pretty good but that's it. When you put BOTH headphones in the charger when it is plugged in there's only a 1 in 3 chance that both buds will charge, my left earbud very often will not connect properly to the charger and will not charge, meaning it has 0 battery and the right one is 100% in the morning going to work which is really annoying. Then they are massively over engineered. The functionality on something as small as an earbud should be limited to on/off and maybe volume control. There seems to be a raft of unnecessary functionality built into the buds which makes them over sensitive when you are taking them out after a walk/getting to your desk in work etc. The important functions are on your phone or smartwatch, earbuds do not need to duplicate these functions other than on/off imho. Lately, when I put them charging they will also remain connected to my phone unless I actively disconnect them from Bluetooth meaning that they are playing on in the charger and interfering with phone calls. They are badly designed and way over priced for what you get and the app that comes with them is terrible as well. My recommendation is to avoid at all costs!!

Wonderful little mid-range earbuds
I’ve given it a full month of use before leaving a review for these earbuds, to be sure how they behave in mixed conditions. The short answer: considering their mid-range price point, they are incredible little earphones. Acoustically from the get go they are top notch - crisp high end notes, warm mid tones and deep bass. They fit perfectly in my average sized ears, with various adaptable sized extra silicon tips included. The Sony app. Noise cancelling, optional background amplification, variable equalisers, modes for different environments, so much stuff. Yes, it takes a while to set up ‘how you like it’, but when you do it is aural refinement. Seeing online reviews about ineffectual noise cancelling, poor acoustic performance, etc it makes sense if you don’t understand how these wonderful earbuds can adapt depending on the environment they are working in. Set them up properly and they are top notch. Microphone performance is loud and clear when used with the Sony app, not so great with Windows based laptop tech, but this doesn’t necessarily mean the earbuds are at fault. In conclusion they fit perfectly (for me), have wonderful sound immersion, almost perfect noise cancelling (or background amplification if that’s what you choose), impressive battery life and the charging case is handy and subtle to carry about too. They are good to begin with out of the box, but it’s how you set them up that makes them great.

no discernable active noise cancellation
To be fair, I got these as backups for my headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3). I wasn't expecting as good noise cancellation, but I can't hear any benefit from the noise cancellation. I hear no difference between the earbuds with noise cancellation turned on and it turned off with the app. I tried in several different environments: same negative results. Ambient sound mode does work. (Ambient sound mode should not be confused with noise cancellation - it is the opposite in that it amplifies the outside sound for when you want to hear what's going on around you.) Apart from the noise cancellation, the other problem I have is that I cannot embed the earbuds in my ears sufficiently to reliably stay in when I am walking. I keep having to push them back in. I have tried all three size silicon tips without success. This is more than merely a nuisance: I worry I will drop an earbud where I can't retrieve it, making their use far from relaxing. Apart from those major issues, these are pretty good. They are small and light, and the carrying case is convenient to use. I like that they automatically connect with my phone when removed from the case. I had trouble initially pairing, but after fully charging and trying a few times, I was paired with my phone. I just listen to audiobooks, and the sound quality is more than adequate for that - unless drowned out by bus, car, or traffic sound.

Noise? Cancelled. Sanity? Preserved
I bought the Sony WF-C700N earbuds for a recent trip, and they’ve earned a permanent spot in my carry-on. As a frequent flyer, constantly navigating airports, trains, and noisy hotel lobbies, I can say hand on passport the noise cancelling is, in my honest opinion, very good. It doesn’t block out everything, but it smooths the chaos into a manageable hum, which is exactly what I need when I’m trying to focus or just zone out. The fit is comfortable, the Bluetooth connection is solid I’ve had zero dropouts. Battery life is decent, and the sound quality delivers a punch with rich, deep bass that hits just right If you travel often and want something reliable, discreet, and genuinely effective at keeping the world at bay, these are a great pick

Gran sonido, cancelación efectiva y comodidad total
