Retrolife Full-sized Professional Turntable, USB Direct Encoding

Ok... I want you to know that I DO REALLY LIKE the turntable BUT the product has one description flaw. It's about the BLUETOOTH. Buyer of this item - the record player has speakers. They are not even close to high quality. You probably like the Bluetooth feature but don't let that fool you. This player does NOT OUTPUT to a bluetooth. It only inputs bluetooth. Having said that, in addition to buying this player, you also need to buy speakers and speaker wire SEPARATELY. The turntable itself is beautiful. It was all MY FAULT for thinking (because I saw the word Bluetooth) that I could connect my personal speaker to it. I know we all get to reading descriptions and sometimes get lost in the details so I don't want it to happen to you. In my opinion, the cost of the turntable is very reasonable so if you have to also buy speakers and speaker wire, it's still a great deal because the turntable looks so retro-classy.

I was surprised at how well this player sounded, it's not a base thumping player but that's not what I got it for. If you want to enjoy your records without having to get a big ol stereo system than I highly recommend this turntable. It has met and exceeded my expectations in sound quality.

This player caught my eye because it looks like the ones I listened to all my favorite vinyl on back in the 80's. Unboxing was simple, and after removing a couple twist ties and some tape I was rocking and rolling. The sound was much better than I remember as a kid, maybe because of the dual speakers. This came with instructions, a cable, and a CD to hook it up to your computer but I honestly don't plan on doing that. Highly recommend based on fast shipping, ease of use, appearance, and quality.

Great record player. Speakers kinda suck...no crackling or anything...good to show my kids and students a record player...but for chilling and listening to vinyl, you need to run them through real speakers.

This is the second USB turntable that I have purchased since I was a little disappointed with the sound quality of the first one that I bought. The first one sounded a little thin and tinny, while this one has nice full sound. I have tons of albums from the 70s and 80s that I haven’t listened to in 20-30 years and I really enjoy playing them while looking at the original album covers. The turntable had everything that I was looking for. It has a nice wood finish – not plastic, with a hinged cover. It has both USB and standard RCA audio outputs, Bluetooth connectivity and built-speakers that your can balance the volume of to compliment the stereo speakers that you have it connected to. It also even came with a second spare cartridge/needle. It has a needle lift arm that slowly lowers the needle onto the record. It was very easy to connect and start playing albums. It came with a mini disc and Audacity software for a PC, but I haven’t connected the USB and tried that yet. I have tried it from the built in speakers, a separate Bluetooth speaker, and through my surround sound stereo system. It all sounds good, but there is a very light hum at high volume with no music playing. Overall, I am pleased and glad I bought this to replace my first USB turntable.

I purchased, this record player, to give as a Christmas gift. I am a picky person and reasserted and read reviews on at least 15 - 20 lower end priced record players, because that's what I was looking for. I read reviews from all of them over n over, trying to make a decision by reviews , which are always mixed, loved it , or hated it. My biggest interest was in sound quality. I was very hesitate when it came to this one, because it only had 5 reviews, but they were all positive, as far as sound quality. Then my son mentioned a headphone jack would be something he'd like as an option he'd like. That ended up being almost impossible to find on almost all the other record players I had researched here on Amazon, staying in the low end price range. This record player offered that also, along with other options also. So I decided I would gamble on this on because it was available on this on. Though still being pretty skeptical because of only 5 reviews. I ordered it it anyway, and held my breathe. It arrived, I tested it immediately with an album that was in perfect condition, and WOW was I GREATLY surprised. For an 80.00 dollar record player I consider it awesome, for sound quality, you could hear good bass sound and everything. I turned it pretty loud and it still held up just as great. Me being a critical person was more than pleased for what I got for my money. Now this is not a STEREO, so don't go looking for that, but it can fill a room or more with excellent sound . The only draw back, if you want to call it that, is that it does not have automatic arm return. But at the end of the record it does raise the arm and take the needle off the record , so the record or needle does not get damaged. I believe my son said it also shuts the turntable off. You just need to return the arm yourself, but safety of the record and needle are equipped on it. It also comes with an extra needle and as pictured has a lid, to keep out dust. I would recommend this record player to anyone. I was actually a little jealous, and kinda wanted one for myself, but already have a record player, but I had to hookup a speaker system to mine to get decent sound.

Absolutely love this and it's super light weight and can take it anywhere.Please note:the speakers are on the inside (once you close the lid) It muffles the sound just a little bit. Obviously you can keep the lid open while playing the music for best sound quality but it would have made the most sense to put the speakers on the outside of the wood part so you could close lid and still get great sound quality.For $88, I'm keeping it and will just keep the lid open when playing music because it's still a great product overall.

The player is larger than I expected. I love the things that is in artistic style. The quality of the sound is decent. Just looking at it spinning with the music comes out is a enjoyable experience.
