It is not working. Throws hot air all the time. Almost started a fire!!

Been using for a month- it’s compact, quiet, reliable and effective. Expect 2l of moisture absorption every 6 hours. Started off a little noisy (grinding sound of sorts) left it powered off for a day and it’s been great ever since. This possibly may be linked to the fact that there’s refrigerant in this unit so I’d recommend allowing the gas to settle before first use (just like you would a new fridge).

I purchased this for our bedroom. I have breathing problems, so I hoped this would help. Oh boy it's worth its weight in gold. Went for regular check up with doctor, and she just said what have you done you look so good. I explained and told her my breathing has improved 70% the water it collects from the room is unbelievable, if you have breathing problems my advice is try it i can assure you it works , it is all but soundless it is compact and looks good. I put it on in the afternoon about 4 ish and turn it off an hour before we gom to bed. It cost about 3p an hour to run .

In terms of the product functionality, it does exactly what you expect it to do. Dries laundry within 6-8 hours and collects an abundance of water. Not scored 5 as it is actually quite loud when operating. So can't be used in or near rooms that you want to be able to concentrate or sleep in.

Very impressed with this little dehumidifier, it has been working really well and is very simple to set your desired humidity level. Purchased this due to drying clothes indoors over winter time, not only does it keep moisture levels down it also helps clothes dry quickly! When operating on high fan and compressor running it was a little louder than I had imagined, but still quiet enough that it doesn’t impact on day to day living etc.

Item got left outside my house because I wasn’t at the door 2 seconds after the driver rang the bell. Setup the item turned it on and it sounds like a petrol generator. There is clearly something wrong with the compressor. Its 68db, the noise is so bad, it’s disturbing me and the product is in another room with the door closed. Despite the obvious mechanical defect the product seems to work well. Much better than the some of the cheaper "compact" units I’ve reported the issue to the manufacturer who claim they are busy and will get back to me within a week! I’ll update this depending on the feedback from the manufacturer. Update - manufacturer took about two week to arrange the delivery of a replacement, which seemed to work fine. But after two weeks the replacement product has the same fault!!! I’ve contacted the manufacturer again but each response takes 3-4 days. I can’t return the item via Amazon because it’s too big and heavy to carry 3km to the returns kiosk, which is always out of order. Really starting to think about abandoning Amazon
