Everyday Tarot: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom and Manifest Your Future

I have been studying the Tarot since 1988 so I am not a newbie. However, Brigit's Everyday Tarot book is a treasure! First, it's a beautifully designed and illustrated hard cover book that is a delight to hold and read. But, the true gems lie within the covers. Brigit shares her fascinating, personal tarot journey that began as a teenager. She is so generous in sharing many fun, powerful, and practical tips for the reader to enhance his/her use of the tarot to create greater flow, inspiration, and joy in life. I began reading Everyday Tarot the other night when I had insomnia. I got up, I made a cup of herbal tea and opened Everyday Tarot which I had received by mail on September 18, 2018. I loved the scent of the book when I cracked it opened - it reminded me of my elementary school years when every September I entered a new grade and I just loved cracking open next textbooks because of their distinctive, appealing scent! I savored the first 40 pages of the book. Brigit's intuitive approach to the Tarot resonates with me so much. In my humble opinion, beginners and seasoned Tarot readers will gain valuable nuggets of wisdom for how to improve their work/play with the Tarot from this book. It's a new permanent addition to my Tarot library. Kudos to Brigit and her artist for creating such a heart-inspired Tarot tome. I would suggest this and her webpage to any tarot reader out there. I only docked one star because I feel like theres a lot more than necessary advertising of her website. It is something you have to pay for to be involved in and I think didn't need to be sited so often, but that doesn't take from the quality of the book. I also disagree with reading from the sacral chakra. Not to say that I am right and she is not, we all will read from different places. No two person is psychic in the same way. I read from my 6th mostly, but I think it may have been more helpful to have said, "I read from my sacral chakra" and encourage people to learn where they read from the best and educate in those regards. For example, I don't read from my sacral chakra so that I am not taking on the emotions and feelings of the person I am reading for. It is draining. When I am in my 6th I am able to be more observant. I get the same message. On the flip side, I LOVE that she said, YOU DONT NEED TO BUY MORE TAROT BOOKS, you need to learn more about the human condition and psychology. SO TRUE. I love that she has a companion for the book. I love her vibe. I love her page for being a free reader. I love that she recognized that helping others read is most fulfilling. Miss Biddy is a Goddess of love and you should buy her book. End of Story.

I followed Bridgit's website way back in the day, and I always loved how she wasn't overly mystical with tarot, and framed it as a tool to help you pull out what you already know. I was excited to see that she wrote a book! So of course, I had to get it. So far, I'm really loving it. Someone complained that this reads like a self help book, which it does, but not entirely. The overall theme, again, can be described as shedding the shame of trusting your intuition, and using tarot as a tool. If you want a book with cut and dry "rules" for tarot, this isn't for you. So, you WON'T find hard definitions for these cards in this book. Honestly, there's no such thing. The hardcover is also reaaalllllllyyyy nice! I feel like it was worth the money I paid for it, and you can tell great time and effort was paid in ensuring that the pages, font, and images all fit together well.

I absolutely love this book. I use it in conjunction with the rest of her series, Intuitive Tarot and The Ultimate Guide to Tarot Card Meanings. In over twenty years of reading and studying tarot, I have never come across a system quite like Biddy Tarot. This book is a gem. I love her personal anecdotes which shed light on the lessons. Some of the tarot spreads, such as the Soul Purpose and the Soul Alignment Check-in are downright astonishing when used in conjunction with her teachings. Once I got the basic gist of her method, it opened up an whole new and much more accurate world of tarot for me. Check out biddytarot.com for more info on how to use this book.

What a surprise! I have many tarot books - a whole bookcase full in fact. And I read every single one. Every Day Tarot was a surprise in that it was not a go-to for tarot meanings. There are tons of books like that in my bookcase alone. This book was written by the founder of Biddy Tarot, Brigit Esselmont. It is her very personal journey, along with practical tips and techniques that go deeper than most, and FEEL personal and deep. She touches on intuition, self discovery, goals, decision making, relationships, sacred rituals, and so much more. As well as those gems, the hardback book itself is absolutely beautiful, using a color story of purple, white and gold - which go along with the tarot deck soon to be released. As an added bonus Brigit is offering a meaty workplan to go along with this book and deck if you go to everydaytarot.com and enter your receipt number. I did this and downloaded many pages, videos and even a visualization meditation. Yes, I gave this book five stars, a rarity for me. Bravo, Brigit! You hit out of the park!

I am very involved in the Biddy Tarot universe and am so very grateful for it. It is a wealth of resources for learning and practicing and networking. All things Tarot, and very accessible to all levels of experience. That being said, this book and it’s associated card deck, while beautiful to hold and work with, are really for those with some Tarot experience; at least a basic knowledge and some work with the cards. I am an aspiring reader and felt pretty comfortable with things presented in the book and Brigit’s style is amazingly warm and welcoming. However, if you are a total newbie, I think this will give you inspiration but you first need to go to her website biddytarot.com and learn about her methods for learning about the cards, your intuition, and how to access it. Get a feel for Tarot in general, get a deck, (perhaps one that is rich in it’s images. I love the deck associated with this book but in the beginning, it might be more helpful to have one with more detailed images. My favorite for this is the Radiant Rider Waite deck), and then this book will be much more useful and helpful in your journey. Good luck on your path.

Everyday Tarot is intelligently written in Brigit’s casual conversational style. It’s easy to follow, not too “woo woo”, and Brigit’s enthusiasm makes the book feel alive :) I’ve only been studying Tarot for about a year and have been stuck and frustrated that I wasn’t “getting it”. I was spending time memorizing card meanings and keywords and focusing on doing it right. So far, I’m only on half way through the book and I’m already feeling a shift. Using the suggestions and techniques in book, I’m slowly starting to let go of the analytical mind and I can feel my intuition and imagination starting to wake up, like a treasure chest has been unlocked and is slowly creaking open. I’m looking forward to discovering what’s inside! I’ve done the Soul Purpose Tarot Spread for the first time and I am truly AMAZED!!! Even if you’ve read dozens of books about Tarot, give this one a try. It's different. It's fun. And you might discover parts of yourself that you didn’t know were there.

She has the ability to help anyone understand Tarot, and to teach them how to use the cards for personal development. She teaches you how to use Tarot to create your future , and puts the power in your hands. This book is beautifully done with rich purples and golds in a sturdy, high quality, hardbound cover. It's filled with thoughtful spreads and rituals to help you connect to the cards. I recommend every person add this wonderful book to their library. It will enrich your life!
