Diamond Super Single Bowl Kitchen Sink, Anthracite

I am infatuated with our new sink!! I went back and forth about doing stainless or silgranit during our kitchen remodel. I had been looking at the Ruvati workstation sink (old sink was a standard double bowl stainless Kohler, pretty shallow although I never realized just how shallow until now!). After reading through 1,567 reviews for multiple sinks I was more overwhelmed than ever. Several of the Ruvati reviews talked about water not draining out and scratching super easy. Our kitchen design incorporates some black so I started researching options in black. When we picked out our countertops I saw a Blanco sink in the other black color that has some sheen to it. Didn’t like that for our design because we have brass hardware and the sheen looked kind of silver in the light. When I saw this matte coal black on here I was SOLD. Pros: it’s beautiful!! It looks so amazing in the kitchen and I LOVE having the black sink. The size of the bowl is incredible. I never knew such joy washing dishes (or not washing them/loading them in the dishwasher for a few hours, because you can’t see them in the bottom anyway)! I read reviews about some people getting a cracked sink but ours arrived great! The corners are slightly curved so good doesn’t get stuck like some people mention in the stainless workstation sinks. It looks modern and classic at the same time, and very elegant. I can fit every large cookie sheet and casserole dish I have down in it to soak/wash and still have plenty of room! Cons: I’ve noticed a couple of marks from something heavy or silverware, but you have to really look for them and I’m probably the only one in my house OCD enough to even notice. I considered getting a silicone mat/grid for the bottom of it, but honestly I haven’t found one yet that doesn’t have mixed reviews about mildew under it, and I don’t want to take away from the beauty of the sink. (Also hard to find a solid black one that fits from my searching!) I’m so happy with our sink!!

This is our second time we decided to use this sink in our kitchen (first remodel we used the metallic gray, second remodel due to a water pipe leak we used the cinder gray). Never had problems with our first sink. Very easy on the eyes, easy to clean, and the wide open design makes doing the dishes easy as well. We really like the silgranit material, which feels very durable and very resistant to scratches. Having the drain off-center helps to optimize the space usage under the sink with a garbage disposal installed.

This sink is truly impressive once installed. Its like washing in a deep cavern, whose texture sounds and feels harmonious with the water as it falls into it. It reminds me of nature sounds, like a stream cascading over rocks. Its quite organic. I initially wanted a fireclay farmhouse sink and needed a counter replacement to do that. There began my kitchen remodel, with quartz selected as the new countertop material. However, the fireclay sink arrived broken, and it was for the best because the counter installers said those type of sinks needed to be installed prior to the counter, which defeated my entire purpose. They recommended Blanco, which I found in my desired color- Cinder- here on Amazon. I liked this style best- its the most generously sized. It actually looks much bigger once in! I can easily wash a medium large dog in there, or comfortably repot my oversized plants in there. I will order a bumper so my cast iron pots don’t inadvertently hurt it. The drop is substantial so I won’t take any chances. Otherwise, the sink is too attractive to put ugly bumpers in it. The thick silicone drip mats from Yamazaki will be fine actually. I highly recommend this sink. It gives any farmhouse sink a run for its money and its much easier to install.

The sink itself is gorgeous but came in damaged twice!

I had high hopes for this sink, as I’ve purchased two Blanco sinks in the past and was very satisfied with their quality. Unfortunately, my experience this time was a major disappointment—not with the product itself, but with the shipping and customer service process. I placed my order on December 31, expecting the sink to arrive in a reasonable time frame. However, the sink wasn’t even sent out until January 14, two weeks after I ordered it! The tracking number showed it departed a facility in Georgia and was logged at a couple of other locations, but then it simply disappeared while still logged into a shipping facility. What made matters worse was the lack of communication. Nobody notified me of the delay, and when I tried to contact Blanco on January 24 and again on January 27, I couldn’t reach a live person. Instead, I was directed to contact Amazon. At that point, I canceled my order. This experience was extremely frustrating, especially considering my previous positive experiences with Blanco products. I’m sure the sink itself is excellent, but this ordeal with shipping and lack of customer support has left me very disappointed. I can’t recommend a product I couldn’t even receive and I wouldn't order this item again directly from Blanco/ and or Amazon.

Had a dark brown Blanco sink before this white one and decided to stay with Blanco because the sink is so durable. White is beautiful and lightens up the area. Stain resistant and durable.

We love this sink. It’s big and deep. Prefect for pots and pans.

This is my second Blanco sink, one was for a previous home and this one for new construction. This product is such a great quality and very attractive. I choose to go with the truffle, which in the photo for the listing, it looks more of a tan-beige color but it has quite a bit of a gray look to it. I highly recommend Blanco sinks. Very durable, does not scratch easily either. I like to Feed-N-Wax Beeswax to coat the sink, no water stains and the water beads off and makes the sink shiny.
