Very bright easy to use battery lasts a while

Second update 2/8/19: I unexpectedly received a replacement set of lights from GearLight. They included a MUCH longer screwdriver. Nice suprise, but I was still skeptical. The screwdriver worked with the replacement lights, but I didn't know if they'd hand-picked a light set to send. But I had one light left from my original set, and the screwdriver worked well with that. I took the back all the way off and put it back on to be sure the whole process would work and it did. (One review talked about the clip being an issue, but it wasn't at all.) So, IF the new screwdriver style is included, I'd definitely give these a five star rating. They're super bright and the two flashing options make me much more comfortable that my dog and I will be seen when walking on dark streets. Update 1/12/19: I've had these a little less than four months and the batteries are now dead. I tried to change them with the screw driver included and the screws simply won't turn. Tried a different screw driver with a longer handle, pushing hard while turning, etc., but still no luck. So basically these are over-priced throwaways, prior review: These are under an ounce each, but nice and bright for being seen while running or walking in the dark. The clips grip well and are easy to use. Each light is 2 1/4 inches high and comes with its battery installed, but you get four extra batteries too. I like having a choice of steady light, slow flash and fast flash (but I probably won't use the fast one). I walk or run my dog twice a day, plus take runs without him. There are no sidewalks in my sub, so visibility is extra important. I have a reflective vest, and so does my dog, but I feel a lot safer with two of these on each of us! I don't normally order things on Amazon that only have a few reviews, but these were cheap enough that I thought I'd give them a try. Glad I did!

I purchased these for fun out on the kayak. Sometimes you just get in the mode and next thing you know it’s almost dark. I believe boats can see us with these the lights seem very bright. They also seem like they are built tough and can hold up. I haven’t had to charge it yet. My son really loves the green color.

They work good, dogs are easy to see at night.

These lights work great on the back of my wheelchair. I use them as if they were navigational lights, they can be a little hard to get on. But they're very bright.I haven't had them long enough to know how long they'll last, but they appear to be made very well

I use this for walking at night. The velcro bands are too small for my arms. Too small even for my teen daughters. But the clips are well designed and have not fallen off my jacket or hat. The lights are bright, so even though they are small, I am easily noticed. I wear two at a time, one at the fast blink, the other at the slower blink. My neighbors have commented they easily see the lights as I am walking. Oct 18, 2019 - Work changed, I was walking in the day. Another change, and I am walking at night again. I pulled these out, the green ones were still bright. The reds still turned on and flashed, but they were not very bright. I still had the screwdriver, but either used or misplaced the spare batteries. The units each take two CR2032 batteries, which are pretty common. The screwdriver from my set is the short one, about 1 3/4 inch. Notes from other reviews say it now comes with a longer screwdriver. The screws are tight, but I only struggled with one. It came out when I put my finger on the end of the screwdriver, so I could put max pressure down on the screw. I then turned the unit to get the screw started, and it came out properly. The screws are tiny!! I dropped one and needed a magnet to find it. Note how the batteries are flipped when you open it. There are markings how the batteries should be placed, but they are not clear. It reassembled without a problem, and now the reds are bright again. I still recommend and give 5 stars.

Great brightness. But, not rechargeable - not worth the price because there are cheaper ones that are equally bright that are also not rechargeable

I purchased the S1 LED 4-pack of blinky lights in January 2023 and another 4-pack in March. I think the lights are fantastic! I wear them when I am out walking at night and I feel much safer from the perils of texting drivers. I get a lot of comments from random strangers about the lights when I'm out walking. They are quite visible, the lights, that is. The batteries, 2 CR2032's per light, last a sufficiently long time. I typically use them for an hour/day, 5 days per week. I started replacing the batteries after several months of use since there were 4 spare batteries included. I imagine brand-named batteries would perform even better. Speaking of batteries, use caution when removing the 4 teeny-tiny screws that hold each light together, which is required to replace them. There are mini screwdrivers included in the set. I stripped the screw head on a couple of screws and it was difficult working around them. Eventually, I clamped the light to a tabletop which made extracting and replacing the screws much easier. I must add how eager and helpful the GearLight support team is. There is a warranty card in the box asking to be contacted if something is not right. I emailed them and the issue (the stripped screws) is being resolved by replacement with no fuss.

I had received the product as scheduled and after 4 weeks the light died on me and could not switched off. When we opened the lights they were full of rust. This order was delivered by a reseller from China. I placed another order and I received it from India. Please note that the picture on amazon does not match the actual packaging which created a lot of problems when communicating with GearLight. These lights are the most expensive positioning lights I have purchased but they died miserably full of rust but Gearlight issued a refund ...no questions asked. I am a long distance runner and I must have reliable lights. Hopefully the one from the reseller based in India are a bit better

These seemed expensive at first, but after receiving them I realized they were built very well. The LEDs are very bright and should last a long time, and the units, including the clips, are very sturdy. They also come with good quality Velcro straps to fasten to bikes, strollers, etc. Recommended.

Use them when we take the kids out in the park for biking. The lights indicate when the kids are when it is dark. So we don’t have to worry about losing them in the wood.

4 in a pack, one never worked, other 3 same problem pin that holds the clips pops out and there is no way you can put it back as theres a spring inside you cant see. all clips broke. Great led light but extremely cheap way holding them clips. For 30$ plus shipping and all, didnt last a month.
