Carl and Princess Donut journey into insanity in the wildly entertaining sixth book in the New York Times bestselling Dungeon Crawler Carl seriesโnow with bonus material exclusive to this print edition! Coast Guard vet Carl and his ex-girlfriendโs cat, Princess Donut, have survived longer and leveled up higher than anyone ever thought they could in the galaxyโs most popular reality show, but after the shocking conclusion of the seventh level, itโs now anyoneโs game. A pantheon of forgotten gods. An old grudge between a talk show host, an heiress, and the man they shattered along the way. A rapidly deteriorating AI system. An inconvenient tiara upon the head of a friend. It is bedlam on the eighth floor. The crawlers are given a new task: Find and capture six monsters, each of which will be turned into a card. The stronger, the deadlier, the better. At the end of the floor, the bad guys will also have decks, made of some of the most powerful cards available. So itโs crucial for crawlers to assemble the toughest squad possible. But, like always, there is a catch. Thereโs always a catch. If Carl and Donut want a winning hand, theyโll have to capture the most lethal and terrifying monster of them all: Shi Maria. She was once married to a now-missing god. Her special attack is known to drive one insane. They call her the Bedlam Bride. But even if Carl and Donut can capture her, they know all too well that just because someone has been captured, it doesnโt mean they have been tamed. Welcome, Crawlers. Welcome to the eighth floor of the dungeon. Review: Matt Just Keeps Getting Better & Better - Why is every book more unputdownable than the last? Itโs hard to breakaway and read when one has work & responsibilities, but this book makes shirking them feel like a just reward. Onto the next one, Donut ****s unite! Review: Another great addition - Pretty damn amazing. Not going to lie, thought this was going to be a throw away floor, especially after the last one. But it was really well done. Love the book. Only thing to complain about is the name. The bedlam bride wasn't as involved as the name of the book made me think she would be. I know that she is being used as a setup for future floors, but it still felt kind of lacking to me.

Can't wait for the next book in the series, I read all 6 in record speed and now the wait will be agonizing. I guess all good things take time...well done Matt dinniman, may your brave father rest in peace...and u deliver us the next book super soon. God bless.

As the title implies - absolute bedlam
Standard DCC book : amazing characters, insane action and humor. Dinniman's really improving with his character work and his implementation of ideas is top notch. I'd still like a lot more maps and images though, because while I love action, it's incredibly difficult to keep track of things. That aside, it's still an amazing time and I can't wait for book 7.

Completely out of the box
I really do not know what to say. Does Matter really think a plot through before he writes it? Does it come to him? Is it all chaos? No idea. Either way, these are more entertaining than most of the stuff available on the market. 5 on 5

Twas good
No matter how dark it gets... it gets better. Ridiculous and compelling. Revolting but comical at the same time. Godammit.

A great read
Entertaining as always. Easy style to read with a good storyline. Interesting twists and new dynamics introduced. Don't think too much about it, just enjoy the ride. Fun characters and some heartfelt moments baked in with some anarchy for good measure.

This book finally gave us some answers to questions that have been around since the beginning of the series, while also inspiring hope for whatever comes next! It was great!
