I am a clockmaker that does a LOT of house calls. I have been using a tool case for over 30 years and my old box finally started to fail. I searched a lot of tool cases, my biggest problem is the tool pallets that were currently available did not meet my needs. I use a collection of screwdrivers, pliers cutters etc. I keep parts and an aerosol can in the bottom and a collapsing file folder above the top pallet. The extra height is both a pain and a bonus, thank goodness it has wheels. While I can't roll it everywhere, it does get rolled a lot. The manufacturer cautions against picking up the box with the rolling handle, I agree with this, the collapsing handle is sturdy but not that heavy duty. Build quality is excellent, dividers in the bottom are wonderful. This is a first class tool case, I expect to get years of great service from this case.

I use this case to carry a majority of the tools I need as a piano technician. It is sturdy, highly configurable, and resistant to rain getting in (not waterproof, but nearly). I like this case a lot! Except the wheels… As a field case, this should have sturdy wheels, but after four months they began to fail. At this point the bearings are shot, they are noisy, and they sometimes seize. This is the closest I have come to a perfect case for my needs, but the lousy wheels dictate that I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it. I have emailed the company and will update this review and my rating with their response. Update time: The company was very responsive and sent replacement wheels immediately. I have upped the star rating from three to four based on the customer service, but still wish the wheels were more suited to their purpose. Customer service, though, was five star all the way!

I was in need of a new tool case that can handle me and the TSA. This case fits what I needed. Great inserts for my tools and the case protects my tools when I travel. The handle and wheels are strong enough to handle 4 flights already with no damage so far. I would recommend this to Field Engineers looking for a tough case and an alternative to Pelican. I went with this case because of the inserts and module compartment in the bottom. Very happy with my purchase.

Well made for travel well layed out design and rugged construction

I use my tool box for line maintenance at the airport. As an aircraft mechanic this toolbox holds all the tools I need and with its combination lock I can be away from my tool box without any worries. Very good at organizing my tools which is a plus for me and room for the more bulky stuff at the bottom.

I liked it at first but after three plane rides it was in realy bad shape. I even went to the trouble of putting fragile stickers on it when I got it. The skin is a very thin layer of abs plastic. Its thinner than a bumper cover witch you wouldnt expect from a tool box. The inside liner is shaterd and one corner is cracked strait through which I have duct taped. I don't think I would recommend this case to any tech that travels. My max load I kept in it was 45 lbs. Not a good deal especially when for 100 bucks more a hard shell case can be had.

Locks are not TSA approved. Yes it has to keyed and a combination lock. The bearings on one of the wheels are really stiff the other seems ok. Good sturdy telescoping handle the molding of the case itself is a bit on the thinner side compared to similar tool boxes of this style. the customizable railes for the bottom should have more than just 2 and then they would be customizable. The other B&W tool case I have is much more impressive. I guess I will just see how well it holds up when traveling.

I'm service technicien and this tool box is so nice. Lightweight and very strong. The wheel make the box easy to move. The clipboard inside the tool box are very good quality. I highly recommend this tool box.
