Can you take the plates out to wash

No the plates don’t come out to wash, but I have never needed to do this. 3 eggs is the perfect amount to split between the two compartments. Then I just wipe it out with damp cloth after and it’s as good as new again. Just make sure you use plastic knives or things to get the omelettes out or it could scratch the non stick surface. This is a problem my daughter had with hers. Iv used mine 3 x a week since Christmas and I love it.

Yes, it comes with detailed instructions on how to make an omelette. It is very very easy to use
