Iโm extremely satisfied with the Merino.tech Merino Wool Base Layer โ Menโs 100% Merino Wool Long Sleeve Thermal Shirt. The material is outstanding โ soft, breathable, and genuinely warm without feeling bulky. You can immediately tell itโs high-quality merino wool. The fit is excellent and true to size. It sits comfortably against the skin, layers perfectly under jackets or sweaters, and doesnโt itch like lower-grade wool. The craftsmanship and stitching feel durable and well made. Light, Warm, and Going Strong for 2 years.
The long sleeve shirt is impressively warm for how lightweight it feels, making it ideal for layering without bulk. The fit is a bit loose on my 5'10", 180 lb frame, but still extremely comfortable. And the socks? Bonus points all dayโtheyโre ridiculously comfortable, warm, and well-made. Pros: โ Deceptively Warm Shirt โ Lightweight feel with heavyweight warmth โ Excellent for Layering โ Perfect for work or motorcycle rides โ Top-Tier Socks โ A standout part of the set โ Breathable & Soft Merino Wool โ Regulates temperature well Cons: โ A Bit Loose โ Could be more fitted, but still cozy Final Thoughts: This set is a must-have for cold weather, with a shockingly warm shirt and socks that steal the show. Ideal for working outdoors, winter riding, or daily layering.

Warm and Durable Through Two Thru-Hikes
Iโve used these as a base layer on multiple backcountry trips, including two multi-month thru-hikes, and theyโve held up really well. Theyโre warm, comfortable, and have been durable enough for a lot of hard use. They are starting to show some signs of wear now, but after that much time on trail, I think thatโs completely reasonable. Overall, Iโve been very happy with the quality. Theyโve done exactly what I wanted from a merino base layer and have been a good value for the amount of use Iโve gotten out of them.

Overall, I'm really happy.
I've been wearing this heavyweight merino wool zip sweater and it's been awesomeโespecially when that unexpected snowstorm hit. The 100% superfine 17.5-micron merino wool is super soft, never itchy, and doesnโt feel heavy or bulky, even after a full day out. The warmth is impressive, and I love how the wool's moisture-wicking keeps me dry and comfy no matter the conditions. The fit is just right, with no bunching or overheating, which is a big upgrade from regular cotton. The packaging was actually pretty cool, and the included merino hiking socks are a nice extra. My only hesitation is about the care instructionsโit says to hand wash and lay flat, but Iโm tempted to try the washer to see how it does. I liked my Smartwool sweater before because you could just toss it in the washer, but that was only 81% wool. Overall, I'm really happy with this one!

Fit
Iโm a 5โ4โ, size 14, XL size woman and I prefer to wear 30โ tunic length tops. I couldnโt find womenโs, merino base layer tunics, in that length for any price! I decided to try a menโs Large and after reading the reviews that stated these shirts are long and reading a review that said the sleeves ran a little short, I ordered this shirt. It is beautiful! Itโs butter soft, well made, not scratchy and most importantly it fits! The shoulders and arms are roomy, not baggy. The arm length is a little long on me, as expected, but not too long. The torso length is perfect!!!! It falls just below my hips! Itโs kind of snug in the hips, but thatโs to be expected in a manโs size and Iโm a woman with big hips. I can live with that. I will be ordering a half zip on the same size ASAP! If youโre a medium to large size woman, who prefers tunic length base layers, but canโt find one in womenโs sizes, buy this shirt. Itโs worth every penny! Well done!!!! Update: I put the sweater through a rinse cycle and reshaped the bottom part it to make it drape around my hips. That worked perfectly! I read a review that stated they thought the sweater had some percentage of spandex. I disagree, because, I would have been unable to reshape the sweater so easily if it contained anything like that. I just wanted to mention that. Thanks for an absolutely amazing piece of clothing!

Great for cold weather cycling.
This is a good quality Merino wool thermal base layer. I used it primarily for cold-weather cycling and it performed extremely well. On a recent ride in 20ยฐF temperatures, it kept me comfortably warm without feeling bulky or restrictive. The material seems high quality, well-made and durable. It has a fine, thin feel without being see-through. The black color also matches pretty much anything, if that matters. The set also includes a pair of wool socks that match the quality of the shirt. Theyโre warm and well made, though a bit too thick for cycling shoes in my case. Theyโd probably be great for general winter wear or other cold-weather activities. Sizing runs true to size. If you prefer a race-style clinginess for layering under cycling gear, you may want to consider going one size smaller. Overall, this is an excellent base layer for cold conditions, especially for winter cycling.

Good quality, keeps you warm.
I recently purchased this base layer and Iโm honestly very impressed. The material is thick and high quality. You can immediately feel that itโs not cheap or thin like some other base layers. I took it with me on a trip to Armenia where it was snowing heavily and temperatures dropped to -10ยฐC. This base layer kept me warm the entire time. No complaints at all. It fits comfortably, doesnโt itch, and feels great against the skin. Itโs warm but still breathable. I even wear it to sleep sometimes because itโs that comfortable. Cold-weather base layer that actually works, this is a great choice. Highly recommend.

So happy I purchased this base layer shirt.
My first merino clothing. I hike year round and was having sweating issues in the winter from the layers I wore. I have used this shirt 5 hikes now and no sweating. Iโm very happy I got this shirt. I bought a Manโs because I am a Tall Woman. Itโs nice and long to my Hips and the sleeve are a great length. I also like the red goes great with my winter jacket. Came with free socks. I tried them yesterday, they are comfortable but didnโt keep my feet warm. But no doubt they will be great when itโs not freezing cold. I will check to see if they have thicker ones for the winter as my other socks cause my feet to sweat in my hiking boots. These thinner socks kept my feet dry. Iโm thankful for the free socks. I also bought another shirt in a lighter weight and that one is great as well. Also not itchy. I just ordered the pants which will arrive this week. Iโm looking forward to trying them out on a freezing cold morning hike. Iโll do a review on the pants purchase after I wear them. I highly recommend merino, itโs made a huge difference on my winter hike. Wish I knew about this product before.

Washes fantastic
Bought this for my husband, and he practically lives in it. Very good fit, washes fantastically, and is basically perfect for the cooler weather. Itโs very comfortable to wear and soft near the skin. Quality item.

Reasons for my poor assessment on product and service given by SELLER.
The colour and size were correct but cetrtainly not the 250GSM (no indication given in merchandise). From my experience as owner 0f 7 pieces (heavy, medium and light), it is certainly lightweight (160GSM). The only indication is100% Superfine merino wool. Made in P.R.C Reasons for my poor assessment 1. I bought this item with the promise of discount. The seller did not honour the discount 2.Seller choose not to response to my request for either RETURN and REFUND or Just honour the promise of discount and pay me the difference I write to share with future buyers, just be careful. I thank AMAZON for allowing me to amake a claim
