Is this removable? Will it leave any type of mark on the wall when removed ?

First, let me start out by saying that I simply LOVE the way my backsplash turned out. For very little money I changed the entire look of my kitchen so I'm not ready to remove it. With that said and to answer your question, with some leftover paper, I covered a tabletop and then removed it about a month later (I didn't like the way it looked). It did NOT leave any kind of mark on the surface. It felt a bit sticky but was easily cleaned off with a hot rag and a spritz of Windex (window cleaner) --I think it's the ammonia that removed the residual glue. Can I cut it so it looks like one shelf?
