Good specs, good customer service and good price!
Got tired of adding water to both of my 5 year old deep discharge flooded lead acid house batteries for my RV. My battery compartment is just large enough for two Group 31 batteries and these are near in size to that so I bought two of them. It also helps that the price on Amazon is very good! They look good and were easy to install. Quality looks very good, though that's just a visual check at this point in time for me. Note that the terminals have M8 screws - if you get battery cables with M8 (5/16) lugs there will be more metal at the end vs the 3/8 holes on my previous cables which rotted away. Nice removable caps on the battery terminals which help when connecting multiple batteries in parallel. See my photo of the final installation. I bought a Victron SmartShunt IP65 along with the batteries so that I would have more confidence in the state of the batteries when boondocking without shore (120VAC) power. There is a good datasheet for this battery on the Renogy website but that does not include two parameters that can help accuracy with the Victron. So I asked Renogy customer service for the information which they quickly provided! Bravo to them for this! The two parameters and their value are : Peukert’s Constant: 1.1 and Charge Efficiency: 90% I felt that the old batteries didn't have sufficient remaining capacity - though they were originally 120Ah each. Whether that was true or not I really don't know. See below for the reasons for this and why I got the Victron monitor - which I really like. I have a Renogy Rover 30A solar charger which shows the battery voltage and some kind of state of charge (SOC) number. But the voltage on a lead acid battery is an accurate measure of SOC only if the battery has sat completely idle (i.e. disconnected) for at least 24 hours which is a non-starter when you are camping. The solar controller doesn't know how much current is being drawn from my battery pack (both the house load and solar are connected directly to the battery) so it can't calculate any kind of reasonable load drop. From what I read the loaded voltage could be 0.5 to 0.7v or more below the resting voltage as related to SOC. Hence the uncertainty with the old batteries. The shunt battery monitor is in series with the negative battery terminals so it knows all the current in/out of the battery, plus voltages and temperature. So it can calculate SOC more accurately. Note, however, that all it can calculate is the percentage of the battery capacity. If you enter 200Ah as the net capacity for the battery pack and you use 100Ah then it will show roughly 50%. But just exactly what the net remaining capacity is for a battery that is a couple of years old is a difficult question to answer. If the actual capacity has degraded to 150Ah, then that 100Ah discharge is bringing SOC down to 33% which is definitely not good. Apparently the correct way to test actual capacity is to discharge it at the spec rate (100Ah divided by 10 hours equals 10A) until the voltage drops to 10.5V. You want the current to be constant even though the voltage is varying and you definitely want to stop when you get to 10.5V and then immediately charge it up again. I don't see myself setting up such a test fixture nor do I know any place that can do this kind of test...

Charging options
I’m using a NOCO genius 10 charger with this battery and have it set on AGM mode. I have an inverter connected at the same time. After a few days, the charger indicates that the battery is bad and cannot hold charge. If I reset the charger it works again, then after a few days same issue. Am I using the wrong charger or charger is set in the wrong mode? Has anyone else has similar issues?

Great battery! Just heavy! (200ah)
Great battery, but you’ll need 2 people to move it! But great battery for my sump pump backup!

Big, heavy, fits the bill for lead-acid needs...
Renogy makes excellent products, overall. Plan on team lift to move this battery.

Ok battery
I bought this battery in Sept. 2023. The battery stopped holding any charge. It lasted about 3 years

Company has atrocious attitude re: quality & customer support
I purchased this battery and had it installed ($150 cost) as a replacement for my 7 yr old camper van (previous Interstate battery worked fine). After two 4 day trips noticed that battery was discharging much more quickly than expected after being charged on 300 mile runs. After another 3 trips battery would completely discharge when it sat for a week and would not recharge after a long drive (300 mile +). Took the van to a different RV repair facility & they test ( w/ standard batt charge / discharge load equipment) and say it is not holding charge at all. so, batt is a reject, supposed to have 400 recharges & not working after 40, 8 months. I contact Renogy customer service &submit 5 email explanations , getting a run around about how was it tested & how did it fail. I had the repair shop supply info about how tested & equipment used. Renogy sends me a 8 page doc about how they will not do any refund (or partial credit) unless the batt is tested w/ about $15K worth test equipment, ridiculous. so, they will not stand behind their product when they occasionally ship a reject ( see other reviews) & they will waste a ton of your time providing crappy customer service. DON'T BUY. There are much better batteries out there w/ descent service if there is a problem.

Incredible Battery
This thing is an absolute monster. At over 100lb I felt pretty bad for the delivery guy. When I first installed it in my van in conjunction with two 100 watt panels, I didn't secure it well enough and it slid around in hard turns. The simple fix was a 1 inch wide strip of plywood going around all four sides. Now it fits snuggly in place. Connection and set up was a breeze. You don't have to be intimidated by this behemoth. Solar set up with this, inverter, charge controller, and panels can truly be done by anybody. The battery itself doesn't include any post covers for after connecting everything, but your inverter should have you covered there, pun not intended. The heavy duty nylon straps on each end are a much needed and most welcome addition for easily hauling this thing around. As my review suggests, I'm no electrical expert, so I can't honestly speak for the battery power and longevity. It has, however, served me flawlessly for an entire year. It runs my set power refrigerator non-stop while keeping all of my electronics fully charged and even occasionally running a tiny low power space heater as needed. I'm also looking forward to trying it out on an induction hot plate or a mini microwave in the future. I've even used it to run a full-size household vacuum to clean the van. If more money comes my way, I might check out the lighter lithium battery version in the future.

So far, so good during a long outage
This Renogy 12V 100Ah AGM battery performed well during a recent 12-hour power outage. It kept my basement dry by powering the equipment I needed, which gave me a lot of peace of mind during the outage. The battery was easy to set up and has worked reliably so far. I also like that it is a sealed AGM design, so it feels like a practical option for backup power, solar projects, or other off-grid uses. Overall, I am happy with the performance so far. It handled an extended outage well and proved to be a worthwhile backup for keeping things running when the power went out.

Great price - WIll evaluate over time
Couldn't pass up the sale but now will evaluate "longevity" and "value for money"

There where no instructions with this item.
I did not know if the battery was charged or not when it arrived. The battery failed. I do not know if it was a problem from the battery or from the controller.
