This one year warranty USB cable replaces perfectly the one I received when I ordered my Toshiba external drive last year. It has 2 USB ports to plug in your computer for your own device to improve the transfer rate performance which supposedly can be up to 5 Gbps (it is supposed to be a superspeed average number of bitrates per unit time that pass between equipment in a data transmission system). Very affordable and reliable, it seems sturdier that the one I had. I am very happy because I can also use it for my external CD drive.

It's working so far, both the type A on my office pc and the type c on my laptop. The short length also fits better without folding than the original cable in the pouch that I carry my portable hdd in.

I bought this to so I could open my Western Digital My Passport 1tb external hard drive sadly it doesn't work. I guess I will have to buy another 500gb UnionSine external hard drive which works flawlessly with an external power source. Great concept,if it only worked
