The Curious Bartender: An Odyssey of Malt, Bourbon & Rye Whiskies

Husband has loved the whole series. He is not a fictional reader, so I found these, centered on his interest in whisky, gin and coffee. He has learned all kinds of facts and history and makes a mean cocktail!

We love this book. We recently are learning more about fancy cocktails and moreso whiskey and this has come in very handy. Especially during quarantine time. Great edition to add to your cocktail bar or bookshelf.

This is a great book, not just for Whiskey recipes, but for learning more about my coveted drink of choice. I enjoyed learning about the history and the differences between each of my favorite styles of whiskies. My only fear is this will turn me into an obnoxious whiskey snob...

Given to my husband as a gift and he seems to like it.

Bought as a present for my son's birthday as he likes this series and has some other books in his collection. The packaging was great! The book had no chance to be even slightly damaged

I purchased this book for my husband a few Christmases ago, but I ended up pulling it off the shelf this past year and reading through it. I loved it! His writing style is engaging, succinct without being too effusive over the subject matter even though his delight is evident. My favorite part has been the Hot Toddy recipe. I made a batch for my neighbors and it has been a hit.

Very cool, informative book. I love all the pictures. Definitely a fun read and explains the basics of what you would like to know about whiskey, especially if you are a beginner.

This book makes a great case for print books. It's beautiful; lush photographs on almost every page, thick card stock, rustic design. One of the more beautifully printed books in my library. And the writing is solid too. It is not a how-to-taste book (although it does touch on this a bit); I would recommend a couple others in addition for a complete whisky beginner. Instead, in the authors own words, it's a "sweeping campaign of whisky propaganda...". At this, it excels beautifully! I'm considering picking up the authors other book on cocktails and his upcoming book on coffee, even though I am less interested in the subjects.

Ce livre vous transportera dans le monde du whisky dans un voyage que peut de livres ne pourrait retranscrire de cette façon. amateur de cocktails mais surtout de whisky écossais foncez sans plus attendre
