A29 Door Sliding Bolt & Latches, 12 X 2 inches with 3 Gate Latch, Barrel Bolt Iron Black Powder Coat Finish, Security Slide Lock for Doors Gates Cabinet

I used 2 of these sliding door locks for a set of double doors. The sliding lock matches the look and feel of the hinge and other hardware on the door. I planned to use the ‘U’ shaped catch but quickly realized that the ‘U’ shape should really be an ‘O’ with ears. Because there was no ‘back’ on the ‘U’ shaped catch, the doors do not stay flush with each other. Instead the door has about 1/4” of play between the sliding bolt and the ‘U’ catch.

It's sturdy, easy to install and comes with 3 different catches for vertical / horizonal and flush / 90 degree mounting. It's nicely powder-coated too.

Installed on a 1870’s double door. Latch looks great but the latch bolt is a little short to ensure a secure door even with minimal spacing between the two doors. The door bolt needs to be at least a half inch longer.

i would buy this product again, quality of the slide bolt is good and hurky with a great look however the screws are poor quality. I am using this slide bolt for a Murphy bed I built out of hickory, I pre drilled the holes and the screws snapped off with very little torque so will have to drill those out and get some better screws. Another issue was I ordered the slide bolt that was 5 3/8 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 and received the 8 x 2 1/8, they said this was a manufacturing issue they would get fixed. Tom from their customer service took care of it and gave me a refund and sent me 2 new ones for free which I was not expecting. I would recommend this product, first 2 pictures are of the incorrect item shipped, last one is of the correct item.

Great latch, love the looks of it! Plus it has 3 different types of latch retainers. Needed a rustic looking latch for a door I built, will be buying more!

This was a refreshing change from other manufacturers. The quality of the coating was good, the operation was excellent. My only improvement suggestion would be a longer throw distance of the bolt. But it is certainly as advertised. I would and have bought again.

this lock has a nice weight to it. I specifically bought this to use on a wall arrangement featuring locks / latches / door knobs / keys. Worked well for this. I don't plan on using it for an actual gate bolt. Quick delivery. Would use this seller again.

After 6 months this latch is rusty and broken. The spring is sprung again and again not able to secure the bolt in place. Worst choice I could have made.
