Adjustable size and really protects the upper body.
I have used this on 5 rides each ride was in the dirt/rocks and was about 2 hours long. This saved me already but protecting me from a cactus i hit when it was dark. My elbow would have really been injured from a cactus hit. I didn't feel it in my elbow at all but my leg which was unprotected sure did. This has a lot of size adjustability and fits me really well. I am able to kind of lock it into place so that it doesn't shift on my body which is very important. The large velcro belt (we used to call them (cumber buns) is also a nice feature to have on those long bumpy rides.

It fit my grandson perfectly. The pads are heavy duty. I feel that it will protect him while riding. However I thought the shirt would have been thicker material. It was very thin. I thought it was more like a jacket but it wasn't

Don't leave home without it.
A necessary U̶g̶l̶y̶ bit of kit. Conversation in Emergency rooms is plainly not worth what it costs.This is unpleasent to wear tangles when on a hangar and is the best thing to wear when the termperature is above 90 degrees.I just cannot cheerfully recommend it to anyone for comfort or style or wash-ability or anything else._Except without it you'll find a very large E.R.bill for the short lengths of thread in elbows and shoulders._
