Comfortable Small, Portable and Lightweight Camping Chair
Camping in a van I have to consider the size of the items I purchase that I feel I need to take with me. This chair fits the bill! It packs up in a small, easy case that you can store and or carry on a hike and not weigh you down or take up a lot room in your vehicle. I have had 2 hip replacements and needed a chair that wouldn't be hard to sit in, get up from, and feel comfortable enough. This chair again....fits the bill! I have not trouble sitting in it comfortably or standing up. It feels sturdy as well and the mesh in the back to allow a breeze. The only con about this is if it's cold. It packs away pretty easy and sets up easily as well and comes in a nice little carry case. The materials seem well made and we will see how it stands up to multiple use but does not look or feel cheap at all. The added head rest is a nice touch. It has velcro so you can use it or not, I like, so I use. This is a chair that I feel like I can now take with me down to the beach or on a hike, and not just leave back at the campsite.

Best Folding Chair Ever — Comfortable, Compact, and Built to Last!
I bought one of these chairs at Costco about two years ago and instantly wished I had grabbed more! So when it came time to get a few new portable chairs, there was no question — this was the one. It’s incredibly comfortable — the design kind of cradles you, so it feels like you’re floating rather than sitting in a typical folding chair. It’s lightweight, super easy to fold and unfold, and packs down small enough to carry anywhere. For the quality, comfort, and portability, the price is a steal. We use ours for everything from backyard gatherings to concerts, and it’s held up perfectly. Highly recommend!

A step above most camping/foldable chairs!
I bought this ad a gift for my adult son who is over 6’ 2”. He loves this not only because it lightweight, comfortable and well made, but because it is high back enough for him to rest his head! It’s also easy to assemble and carry around! Highly recommend!

Is very light and comfortable.
Maybe too light? On the first night I used it a breeze picked up and blew it into the fire. On the bright side, it took it like a champ and no visible damage occurred.

THE BEST LIGHTWEIGHT, PACKABLE CHAIR FOR MOST PEOPLE.... AND HERE'S WHY
I was looking for a pair of very lightweight, packable high-back chairs for my wife and I to use for camping, park concerts, etc. Initially, I was looking at top brands like Helinox and Big Agnes, but I didn't want to spend $150-$200 per chair. Then I saw this Cascade Mountain Tech chair which looked and was priced exactly right--but I was nervous reading negative reviews about difficult assembly and wobbly support. I ordered them anyway, figuring I'd return them if not satisfactory... and I am SO HAPPY that I took that chance. This isn't just a fantastic chair for the price... it's fantastic, period! But let me address the two most common criticisms: Difficult to Assemble: Are you kidding me? The pieces of each chair are elastic shock-corded together. When you remove the binding strap that holds them together, the chair practically assembles itself as the elastic cord pulls the pieces into place--it's literally impossible to make a mistake because the pieces can only assemble themselves as intended. Working without reading the instructions, I had the chair asssembled in less than two minutes. But hey--I've assembled a shock-corded tent before so maybe I know more than some people. So I gave the next chair to my wife who hasn't done this before and asked her to put it together without reading the instructions. She only took a minute or two longer than me, no problems. The hardest part--and it's not that hard--is inserting the frame into the last of four gussets on the chair fabric because the fabric is somewhat taut at that point. Wobbly Support: Again, are you kidding me? I weigh 200 pounds and while there is some give and flexing of the frame as I move in the chair, that's exactly as intended. It flexes as you shift your weight around because the alternative would be for the support legs to permanently bend. Any chair this light and packable into a tiny case isn't going to give you the rigidity of a lawn chair. But at the same time, it will absolutely support you without a problem. Any negatives? It's not quite as light as comparable Helinox and Big Agnes high-back chairs, but they are 4-4 times the price. Also, I'm 5'10" and while I'd say the chair is fine for 6 footers, if you're signficantly taller, this is probably not the chair for you. (But this is true of all the similar chairs regardless of price.) I also can't speak to long-term durability, but the observable quality, especially at this price point, seems great. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and I hope you find it helpful in making a buying decision.

Great quality and comfort not for a long backpacking trip but great for a river trip.
We took 16 chairs down the Grand Canyon River trip. This one was the best. By far it was the easiest to set up and most comfortable. Most of the chairs didn’t survive all of the different people sitting in them and being put up and brought down every day. I unfortunately didn’t bring it, but I bought one when I got home. :) It’s a little bit too large for backpacking though.

La calidad de los materiales y resistencia de la silla es muy buena. Lo mejor es que es muy ligera y práctica para llevar en una caminata, paseo de campo o simplemente para descansar en el jardín. El envío fue super rápido y el producto llegó perfectamente empacado.

For the price and quality definitly worth it. It's a fairely comfortable and sturdy chair while also being lightweight. The aluminum rods for the chairs are thick and look of good quality. I only just got it and assembled it and sat in it. Didn't personally use it fully yet other than testing it. Seems like it would make an excellent chair for the beach or camping. The only one downside I didn't enjoy with the aluminum rods disassembling and collecting them was a bit a mess and annoying. other than that it comes in a nice tiny bag convient bag. definitly recommend this chair if you are looking for something light, compact, and comfortable.

I was very sceptical when I ordered these chairs (we bought 2). I do not like chairs that cut into the backs of my legs, and really expected these to do that. However they do not!!! They are very sturdy and well built. We are both tall (6'3" and 5'10") and both find these to be very comfortable. The high back is so nice, we can actually rest our heads on the head rest. They are a bit tough to put together the first few times as the material fits tight, but as the material forms from sitting they get easier to stretch over the leg supports. They sit nicely upright (not a super slouchy chair), they have good back support and dont "dig in" anywhere. We are very impressed with the quality and comfort plus the size and weight make them perfect.
