Is this product food contact safe?  If I use on a restaurant grill surface does it have to be cleaned off completely before cooking?

Accepted Answer

After you clean, you really need to wash your grill with soap and water!  In my restaurant, the grill cleaner obtained from sissco (sp) is much cheaper and works great.  Your restaurant grill does not have the buildup that old cook ware would have.

Will this product remove baked on grease inside an outdoor grill cover?

I used it on the Popcorn Kettle @ Lodge since the only thing people know what they do when the bartender's when they close is empty the "Popped Corn out of it" the Popcorn Oil stick's, burn's, & turn's the bottom interior of the kettle black; so, Yes, it'll definatlly clean out the interior of the grill lid, but, U better wear some safety glasses & "USE IT OUTSIDE; NOT IN THE GARAGE, NOT IN THE BASEMENT, or ON THE PORCH,  Use it Outside Behind the House, or Somewhere U know that Kid's aren't gonna play; IT WORK'S REAL GOOD, BUT THE SMELL/STENCH THAT IS IN IT IS POTANTE; - It WORK'S REAL Good, But Even If U'r gonna  Use it, Play it safe, & use it When U'r Kid's aren't home, unless they know how to listen to You when You tell'em to do something

Can it be used on a glass cook top?

I use it to clean the inside of my oven door that does't get clean on the self-cleaning cycle.  It works wonders!  I spray it on and only leave it for about 7 minutes, not the full 15 for metal, and use a rubber scraper and all the caked-on black gunk comes off!  Then wipe with a damp cloth then dry.  It's fantastic and the glass is fine!

Is it really any better than an oven cleaner such as Oven Off?

It works really well to remove stains. But, my can clogged and wouldn't spray anymore. So I had to throw it out.
