BioLite Solar String Rechargeable, Solar String Lights for Camping, Patio, and Travel, 44-Foot, Color

The 40-foot color lights do not last the 26 hours as advertised. It's unfortunate because I took this camping expecting 26 hours, but I averaged about 8 hours a night before having to recharge the unit. The only reason I'm considering keeping this is because the red light is ideal for camping. I own white MPOWERD Luci lights and they last the advertised usage of 40 hours. I'm assuming it's just the BioLite color lights that have an issue with battery life, while the white lights are great. Unfortunately, I would not recomment this product.

Evening at my campsite will be a whole new experience—it’s going to be so much better! These color-changing lights create the perfect mood for any occasion. The kids absolutely adore them and are thrilled by the evening colors. I’ve tried other products before, but nothing compares to the quality of these. They’re built to last for years of camping, and we’ll never camp without them.

Nice lights with very easy installation and seem to hold a charge very well.

We LOVE these lights SO much! My only gripe is that even though you can select individual colors, there isn't an option to have multi-colored lights where the strand displays orange, green, red, purple, pink, AND blue in sequence simultaneously. Versatile Ambiance These offer great ambiance in multiple settings. We hung them in a tree outside our tent and also had a string inside. It's fun to have them set to a color for ambiance, but when switched to white, they provide essential light to actually see what you're doing! Charging Practicality We love that they charge via USB-C and charge quite fast. We camp in our EV and can just plug them into the car or our Jackery to recharge when needed. Solar Reality in PNW Living in the Pacific Northwest, relying on the solar panel for recharging in shoulder seasons is pretty much useless. I'm glad it's there, but we've got many months before we'll find it useful. Our recent redwood camping trip proved this - the tree canopy made solar charging nearly impossible. Case Size Consideration The case is a bit large and feels unnecessarily bulky. As car campers this isn't a huge deal, but it's worth noting for those watching their packing space. Just wish they offered a multi-color sequence option for even more visual variety. 4 stars - would be 5 with multi-color capability!

The lights are great, but the unit is a bit finicky to use and doesn’t feel rugged for outdoor. The hanger is not easy to use because it is hard to adjust, it should strap over the backside rather the solar panel. The light can’t stay in the connector inside the wire management, which seems not to make any sense, the wire management is flimsy and I’m worried it will break eventually at outdoor use. It feels like the product is just ok and needs more refinement for actual camping.
