This liquid pimple patch is excellent for treating, protecting and promoting healing of acne. It is easy to apply and is slightly sticky until it dries completely. Once dry, it forms a thin, invisible film over the spot and most importantly it helps me not pick at the area. I usually apply it at night and remove it in the morning by gently rubbing the area or by washing my face. Pro-tip: once you’ve applied a thin layer, do not touch the area or try to apply more as it dries because it will start to peel off. It works best when applied and not touched again until you actively remove it. I liked this so much after just a few days, I ordered a second tube! I find it a good value and a little product goes a long way. I noticed improvement in spots overnight with less redness and swelling. It works ok under makeup short-term, but can sometimes start to peel off due to normal facial movements and isn’t compatible with all makeup. I find that oil-based products especially seem to dissolve the liquid patch when applied over the top. Overall, I find it highly effective and a really unique addition to my skin care routine!

I may be using it wrong, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. First, I did try to apply it using a q-tip, because the idea of a skincare product, especially a skincare product for acne, requiring me to touch the applicator directly to my face felt sacrilegious. It did not work. I then tried a plastic spatula from a cleansing balm and it also didn’t apply well. Then I read the instructions (duh) and saw that you are, in fact, supposed to touch the applicator directly to your skin. I’ve been mostly using it on zits that haven’t come to a head yet but are getting close and it doesn’t appear to do anything to help. I find that the “patch” starts to release around the edges after an hour or so just due to the natural movement of my face. I tried to sleep in it and the whole thing peeled off on my pillow in the night. On the bright side, I haven’t had a negative reaction to the product, it has no discernible smell to me either in the tube or on the skin, and it’s pretty reasonably priced for how much product you get. If it works for you, I love that for you. But I won’t be repurchasing.

When I found this on Amazon I was thrilled for a solution, however not so thrilled at the price but I still gave it a try. For $18 I need this to work! And it didn't. I applied it so many different ways thinking application was the problem and no think it's just not the product for me which sucks because as we know pimple products aren't cheap.
