Everything I needed
These are a godsend. My apartment (old building from the 1920's) has flimsy metal studs throughout, so I use drywall anchors for everything I hang. The lowest "grade" anchor I use are the zinc-plated ones that look like giant drill bits. Good for a wall mirror, framed art, hanging plants, etc. I had something bigger in mind. Recently I scored a great deal on a vintage wall unit. It's the Scandinavian style, where you attach rails to your wall and then hang shelves, cabinets, tables, and what you off those rails. All the pieces are solid wood, and as you can imagine it adds up to a lot of weight, especially once you start putting stuff on top of it! At first I thought about cutting out a piece of drywall to install a wooden backing plate behind it. In the end I decided to use these toggle anchors straight into the drywall. This particular wall has newly installed 5/8 inch drywall, mind you, which is a bit thicker than some and in good shape. Were it thinner drywall or very old, I may have reconsidered. Installation was very easy, much easier than traditional butterfly toggles. One thing to consider is, like those butterfly toggles, you need some space to work with *behind* the drywall so the toggle anchor head has room to flip around and grab the wall. In my case there was a lot of foam insulation behind the wall, so I had to poke around a bit with a screwdriver to make room. I choose to buy just the toggles and not the screws, choosing instead to order screws separately. This allowed me to pick the color and length of the screws. I choose some Steel Pan Head Machine Screw, Black Oxide Finish, Meets ASME B18.6.3, #2 Phillips Drive, #10-24 Thread Size, 2" Length, Fully Threaded, Import (Pack of 50) . They looked much better than the unfinished silver screws that usually come with these. So far I haven't had any problems. I currently have 4 rails supporting 4 heavy cabinets and a bookcase with glass doors. I'm not sure I would want to sit on these or store my lead collection in them, but they work great for holding plants, light stereo components, blankets, books, various other crap you'd like to store. I definitely wouldn't have trusted other toggles for the job, but these have worked great for my purposes. Highly recommend.

Better than molys
I have used these for years to install grab bars in shower walls. I gave them only four stars for ease to install because they require drilling a half inch hold in the wall. Once the hole is drilled the togglers snap into place and STAY there if the mounting screw is removed for any reason. Molys fall back into the wall by comparison. When drilling the hole be sure there are no obstructions such as studs or pipes.

They work
These are great. Gone through a case of them and havenโt had any issues. Iโve had others that donโt like to line up correctly or have bad threads making it impossible to insert the bolt. Havenโt had those issues with these yet. They donโt come with bolts but thatโs ok because you can get the length that you need.

Next Best Thing to an Acme Skyhook!
Screw (literally) toggle bolts and expansion anchors, these puppies are the bomb: * Easy to install (need a 1/2 drill bit), * Post installation use a snap - no wiggling to get the toggle bolt to exactly where you need it, no praying that the screw makes an expansion anchor actually expand, * Strong, rock solid connection to the wall, and * Easy to remove (gonna have to patch a 1/2" hole, though) Be aware though, that unlike smaller packages of these anchors, the 50 anchor bulk pack doesn't come with 10-24 machine screws to connect to the anchors. Doesn't bother me at all because I like to select screw lengths according to the job (and hate cutting screws to the right length) but if you don't have the right screws in the fastener box you may be in for an extra visit to the hardware store. Note: Saw other comments complaining about the difficulty in finding 3/16"-24 screws to fit the toggles. As both the smaller consumer channel 10-pack boxes indicate and another reviewer commented, easy to find 10-24 screws work just fine.

Doesn't come with the 3/16-24 bolts?!?!
This is stupid. I bought the 50-pack and it didn't come with the bolts. Tried to find some at a local hardware store. None to be found. It's a really weird bolt size that is only sold with anchors. Hopefully I can find them online....otherwise I paid money for a box of junk.

Very good but would rather have an 8-32
I like them for what the are but I would really prefer a 8-32 version. I bought it to hang towel bars very securely, which it does, but the screws are bigger than the holes in the mounting bracket so I had to spend a lof of time drilling them out. The 0.5in hole in the wall is big, which is ok, but you can't replace it with anything else and you can't really move the hole if you mislocated it.

Learn from my mistakes
What can I say, they work as intended but not without some flaws. I subtracted one star because these break very easy. For every three I installed one would break and these are not cheap. I bought as much as I needed but had to buy more because so many of them broke and thereโs not many other options. I subtracted a second star because get this- the 10-pack which is cheaper comes with a set of screws that makes it super convenient. Loved this and made it a no brainer to purchase a larger pack. Except, my fault for not reading the fine print, but nonetheless when I ordered the 50 pack, it was to my surprise that no screws were provided. Why? Huge frustration. This was unexpected for the price of the item and a caveat. If you buy these, definitely plan for 3x more and to also buy screws.

Huge saving over home Depot.
This bulk package is way cheaper than home Depot. If you are planning to hang a lot of items - this is the way to go. It doesn't come with bolts - you have to buy your own separately. The only downside is a size of the hole in the wall is significant and one should make sure it will be covered by the item you hanging.
