Macgregor Recreational Volleyball Net, 27-Feet

We chose the 27' version which is a few feet smaller than a regulation size to fit in our backyard. I think this net is made well and I expect it to last us for many years. We do not leave this up year round but we will leave it up for weeks at a time.I am giving this 4 stars because I would have preferred it come with dowels on each side as well as a cable for the top rather than the rope.It is easy to setup and once the top support rope is connected and taught you can move the net back and forth to get it centered properly and use the side ties (top and bottom) to hold it in place.My installation was intended to be easily removable (poles & net)I dug a 24inch deep hole and used concrete to hold two sleeves (made from chain link fence post) cut to 24" so they are flush with the grade and level. I then used two 10' poles (galvanized from the electrical dept) which slip into the sleeves leaving a perfect 8' high set of posts. I drilled out and installed eye hooks at the Regulation Men's Height (top & bottom) as well as both for the regulation Women's height. I added one additional set lower so that we can also use this net for Badminton. I used the chain link fence post cap to cover the sleeves when the post are not in them to keep debris out. The lawn mover goes right over the top with no risk of hitting the capped sleeves.

We have our poles 30ft apart an this was awesome just what we needed. Works great even in the crazy west Texas weather.

To play volleyball

We purchased this to use over the summer with our youth group. It has torn in the wind over the winter, but we have been able to repair it. This is well worth the price paid.

Net is great for the backyard. I would want something a little more durable, if I too it to a beach. Works for us though.
