There are no extra blades. There is just one knife with some segments. Maybe the idea is that as one cutting segment becomes blunt, it can be broken and the next one can be used.

The item that I got is with Yellow and Black colored protective cover . It has only ONE blade and not two. The description has confused you I think, It is actually single blade one knife only with yellow and Black colored Dynagrip handle.
