This is Christopher Nolan’s best movie. Gripping story without getting into loads of science fiction. Truly and intriguing story.

It,s.more mysterious than i thought it,s worth to watch because when I see the main purpose of movie i,ll be stuck..

The movie is an intelligent engrossing thriller by Christopher Nolan. And this blu-ray released in India is identical to the UK version released by Warner Bros. It includes the VC-1 codec and lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. The US version released by Disney includes the MPEG-4 AVC codec and lossless PCM 5.1 codec. So the audio is certainly superior in the US version, but the same cannot be said about the video. Although the US version has the better codec and higher bit-rate, I feel the UK version looks overall better and especially in darker scenes. I also noticed few instances of DNR in the US version. Bonus features are same on all versions. So its a difficult choice, this Indian/UK version has better video and US version has better audio. It eventually depends on personal preference.

Funny things is Our indian director remaked this story and make blockbuster(Dhoom3) and audiences appreciated it.

Le Prestige (The Prestige) est un super thriller de Nolan, très bien joué et avec un twist mémorable. À noter pour l’édition : bien que ce ne soit pas indiqué derrière la pochette, la piste audio française est (Doublé au Québec). Je recommande.

This is a great movie with an awesome storyline. Movie provides an interesting portrayal on how one night changed everything between two magicians. Friends become enemies. There is a lot of intrigue in this story. This is also the movie that cemented me personally as a Christopher Nolan fan after Batman Begins. The rest of the cast is also amazing. HD & Special Features are of a very great quality.

Prestige gehört zu den Filmen, die man am Ende direkt nochmal schauen könnte, weil man plötzlich alles anders wahrnimmt. Die Story ist clever aufgebaut, voller Details und Wendungen, die erst nach und nach Sinn ergeben. Christian Bale und Hugh Jackman spielen großartig, dazu die typische Christopher-Nolan-Atmosphäre – düster, präzise, ohne unnötigen Ballast. Der Film lebt von psychologischer Spannung, Rivalität und der Frage, wie weit Menschen für Anerkennung und Obsession gehen. Keine Effekthascherei, sondern sauber erzählte Dramatik mit perfektem Timing. Bild und Ton der Blu-ray sind klar, keine technische Kritik. Wer Filme mag, die einen noch Tage später beschäftigen, bekommt hier genau das.

One of my favourite movies of all time. I just love the twists and turns in the story, as well as the depth. The first few times you watch the movie you pick up new things, and then when you re-watch the movie a couple of years later it still wows with its fabulous writing and complex characters. One of Christopher Nolan's finest, and that's really saying something! Also, the acting is fantastic. Aside from unsurprisingly strong performances from Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Michael Caine, Andy Serkis and David Bowie (!!) are phenomenal as well! Beware the OLD, first print of this Blu-Ray (not this version, the ones printed back ~2006-2007). They suffered from the infamous "Blu Ray Rot" where the disc would develop spots and become unplayable over time.
